LBL:4 in 1-A Noise BelowDrPepper96
This is my entry for the LittleBigLand 4 in 1 Epic-Ness competition.

Your Investigating a noise that is coming from underneath Mm Towers. You find a huge monster below, you have to defeat him or die trying.
This is a boss, not a full level.

Tips: Best Played with 1 player...playing with more than 1 player online may make it harder to beat because it may cause alot of lagg. Also the lasers will kill you.except the ones in the hands.

Hello, I've just finished playing your level. First off, the visuals were fantastic, they felt like a mixture between steam punk and an apocalyptic type of feel. All of the tiny details really paid off, such as the debris falling from the ceiling, and the camera occasionally rattling. As for the boss, it felt a little tedious near the end, I was hoping it wouldn't be so long and hard for each boss phase. Still though, Great work! I rated the level :star::star::star::star::star:. By the way, good luck in the competition, it seems that you have a good chance of winning! 2010-09-13 22:54:00

First of all very good intro and ending desings. You also have 1000 plus plays and plenty of hearts on that level, so not sure if you need feedback, but here it goes. The 3D usage at the end was perfect. The initail fall down had me sumbling around to find how the heck to get to the direction the arrow was pointing. I finally got there and loved the boss. Your camera work and effects were spot on...but however many minutes of shakey cam that was...well it started to get a bit much. The hints at what to do were good, there was variety on the actions, bthe constant movement made it a bit hard to realize where to go or what to do at times. It was a massive amount of FX you put in there. I found myself falling off teh edge right at the start as I jumped down a few times, and after the paint, teh bombs...well kind of was evil with a camera going crazy, lasers moving, the bomb switch having the laser, waiting in the constant movement for the moment to pull the lever, then picking up the bomb and missing, getting killed, then fighting aback around...it was good, but I hit that guy several times and he just didn't die...and each time I missed I knew I had to go back around. Maybe you could make it each time you hit him you have to go turn the switch back on instead of each time you throw the explosive. The water should have been easier, but I had no clue what was going on, and then was squished...I like getting squished, but with the camera still going...Teh items moved faster than sackboy could swim, so half of the times I could not make it around, the other half I was dragged down by the edges on the items as I was trying to kill it...the grab the power source round was better, thought noticed the fourth bubble lagged just a little (on saying where to grab). Took him out, jumped to the right and was killed by gas. Walking out had a very good design to the area. It was a very good level, but with infinate lives I did not feel like it was any challenge, and if it was not infinate....I am not sure how much camera shaking I could have taken. I stopped watching SGU after the second episode because of the camera work...well that and it was just a hoorid remake of BSG, which was pretty bad in its own right (really robots that think technology is the root of all evil?). So great level, but if you could build up to the FX it would make it much cooler, and it would not make my head explode like those anime robots that gave kids seizures. Perhaps slow down the water things, warn the player to move, or remove the edges so you don't get pulled down. Almost wish you had a cool background in that part like you did at the end...but that may have been too much at once. Possibly balance him a bit so the infinate lives is not required. Oh and possibly make the trip down to him a little more obvious, but that is not a big deal. Great boss though. It should have been more than 3 stars, but the fact that the boss is a tad difficult may have caused the ranking...that and the evil one star people.2010-09-17 11:11:00

I gave this level a play and here's what I thought.

I thought the visuals were top notch, like the use of the 3D glitch at the end, outstanding job Drpepper. The itnoduction was great aswell falling down where you shall fight this creature. Although the boss was quite long, it was a great boss battle. It was a little laggy but I loved the different stages, throwing the bombs, swimming, dodging the lasors, etc. I wish I could be more detailed but I don;t remember everything. The design for the boss was good, it was pretty challenging but still a great one and I have to give it :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3 Brilliant job
