My Top 50 Levels of 2010!

Hey guys, thought I'd give you a heads up that I've just released the first part of a 10 part series called: Fastbro's Top 50 PSP Levels of 2010 (And a bit of 2009) (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/entry.php?1950-Fastbro-s-Top-50-PSP-Levels-of-2010-%28And-a-bit-a-2009%29) It covers my favourite PSP levels released so far by you guys! (And is a weak attempt to attract more people to the PSP side) I plan to release two parts per week. Woot! #50! That's my best level, and it's still crap. I've got the skills, just not the time, money, respect, hearts, plays, plot, focus, ideas, custard, attention span, determination, hours in the day, long enough psp charger, muffins, knowledge, internet, courage, hapiness, friends, cheeseburgers.

This is an incredible idea Fastbro! I have no idea why I never thought of it, but I'm glad I didn't because I'm really enjoying your short summaries, and I don't think it would have been as fun for me to read what I wrote

As for those asking for top 100, shame on you! Offering a top 50 with a write up is already a huge undertaking, and it can be very hard to figure out where levels place with 50 slots to fill! Once you get to 100 it would be just ridiculous. I agree that you could easily fill 100 slots with great levels since we have so many on PSP, but it would be sooo much work and a pain to be organizing it all.

So, awesome work Fastbro, and I will be really looking forward to seeing the next five (and the rest of the list!). We'll see if poor Lost at Sea fares better on the list than it did on Highest Rated 		2010-09-14 15:38:00

Woot! #50! That's my best level, and it's still crap. Forgotten, there are literially hundreds of thousands levels out there and I choose your one out of all of them. Plus this is only my personal opinion so for all you know it might be loads of other peoples favourite level!

Man, this is getting better and better! I have been amazed by the levels that are this high up the list, but there are just so many incredible levels!!! It's great to see relatively new levels like Sprocket Town on the list :-) It's also good to see Love Lost Sonata since that level hasn't gotten as much love as it deserves (not that people don't love it, but the level just doesn't have enough plays).

I mention those two, but that doesn't mean that the rest of the levels aren't amazing as well. Those two just stood out since I'm happy to see them on the list because one felt under appreciated and the other is very new, so it's nice to see them on there :-D

Nice idea.
I think that it must be pretty hard to choose which levels will be on the list, because we have more than 50 good levels out there and I really hope that you can include some of the levels that were not posted here at LBPC (like Sha-ja's levels and even AceCreator).
But ohh well!, thanks for this EPIC recopilation.
P.S. In my humble opinion, "Sproket Town" and "Now and then" deserved a best posision, however, list is yours.

I have to admit that I actually haven't played NS's level, so I really need to get on that! I appreciate the kind words about Here and There and it is great to hear that you liked it that much. I'm still surprised that people liked it considering it is pretty hard

Awesome! Great work Fastbro. This is a really useful list and has pointed me in the direction of a couple of levels that had somehow completely passed me by.

Thanks for including "Sprocket Town" and "TIE in the Sky" too, I'm proud and honoured. Without meaning anything pointed at all by it, I'm vaguely surprised that you rate them both above "Curses!" which has always been my favourite of my own levels.

Awesome! Great work Fastbro. This is a really useful list and has pointed me in the direction of a couple of levels that had somehow completely passed me by.

Thanks for including "Sprocket Town" and "TIE in the Sky" too, I'm proud and honoured. Without meaning anything pointed at all by it, I'm vaguely surprised that you rate them both above "Curses!" which has always been my favourite of my own levels.

Curses! is an excellent level, but I choose the other two above it due to their originality.

well... destiny in #2... seems alright, and atleast i didnt fail completly

and how in the hell did i forgot about ZEN... such a simple and catchy name and such a great level... it really deserves to be the first one

Big Congrats to Jeff for taking the #1 spot with Zen! I would have certainly made the same choice :-)

And Wow! Destiny got number 2! That is a great honor. It is incredible to know that you have enjoyed one of my levels so much :-) And as an example that everyone's opinion is different, I have received MANY messages saying that people love my levels but they hate the Destiny series because there are too many words! So even if you didn't make it up as high as you hoped on the list, you are still an amazing author in other people's eyes!		2010-10-19 19:54:00

Outstanding list jeffcu29 Fastbro! It's been great following it from the very beginning, and I really love the choices you made along with the reasons you chose them.

I've certainly enjoyed this feature and I think everybody else has as well. Thanks for all the hard work to put this together! :hero:
