The LBPCentral Worm Image

This is a thread for all the artsy fartsy members of the community. I wasn't quite sure whether to call this a game, a competition or a general chat thing, so considering I hang around here the most, I put it here.

I've seen this in other places, and it seemed to work quite well. This is a thread which is kind of like the One word story thread, in which you could only post 1 word per post and it all added up to make a lovely story of love, intrigue and deception. (Oh, and me trying to make dirty comments). But I digress... This thread is like that, but with a constant image.

In this thread, I will provide a really quite basic image, and you are allowed to save it, add 1 thing to it, like a line or a picture, then post it here again. The next person will do the same to your image, and so on and so forth, until we have something which I'm hoping will look really awesome! What I'm not hoping for is that you save the image, load it up on Paint and then just draw a d*ck somewhere around it. This has to look good, it's LBPC's artist graphical talent and integrity at stake here!

I appreciate that due to the way this is going to work, mostly around the board there can only be 1 layer on the image, as JPEG files have to be flattened and Photobucket etc. mostly can't handle GIMP or PDN files, but this shouldn't be too much of an issue considering you're only adding one thing per turn.

So, to recap:
RULES:

1) Only one new object at a time! It can be a line or an image or whatever
2) Make sure it looks nice! No square images or 2 minute paintjobs :3
3) Try and keep the same resolution/size! Don't want the image getting any smaller/bigger over time, that affects teh qualityz
4) JPEG File extension! Not sure why, just do it, beehutches :U
5) Keep it clean! Obvs.
6) Anything you don't get/ need to ask, just tell me! I'll fix up the rules and schtuff if it's too complicated.

this is like the community chess board you should probably include some rules about taking turns though. like: one person calls a turn then the others have to wait until that person uploads their variation before anyone else can call another turn.		2010-09-13 21:09:00
