Useless glitch with Thor's Hammer

As I said in the title, this glitch is useless as far as I can tell: if anything, it's a curiosity. Anyway, you can attach things to the strap of the hammer object (the 3d object that comes with the Marvel pack, not the costume accessory). Objects can be bolted (but not glued) to it and switches can be stuck onto it. Now it gets wierd: the strap will freely swing, but the bolted objects/switches will stay exactly where they are in relation to the hammer--if the hammer is upright with the strap hanging down and you bolt something, then turn it upside down, the strap will fall, but the object will stay rigidly attached below the handle. As far as connector strength, it seems to act as though it's bolted to the hammer itself. Decorations can also be stuck onto the strap, but they stick with the strap rather than remaining rigid with the hammer.

Anyway, I can't think of anything useful that can't already be accomplished more easily and more thermo efficiently through other means, but it was a fun discovery so there you go.

[EDIT] Just tried it on the torn cloth object and it works the same. I guess that means Silverleon will be coming along in a little while to tell me this glitch is old.

heh, thats pretty weird, nice find though, im not about thermo effecenciy so it could be useful for some people, they jus' need to be able to find a way to use it.2010-09-13 21:04:00

Actually I don't recall it being reported before, if it was I missed it, or just haven't heard of it dude.


Haven't seem many stuff Marvel-pack related, so this would indeed count as new, m8.
