12 Days of Christmas LBP Style

| It's December and it's only a matter of days until the first level of the 12 Days of Christmas is released! 12 Days of Christmas is a community project started by me, CheezeBo/Cheeze-Bo. It all started when I played Spark151's Autumn Maple Leaves. It got me thinking about Christmas. | So, starting from December 19th, you'll be publishing 12 Christmas themed levels? Are you going to make them all tied together? And that long deadline might actually help this project as it creates a leniency for the creators. Got any idea's for story? or will it be easier not to put a story in it and just do it like: End in a cave on level 1 start in a cave level 2. | Right so far according to these posts, here are the team: SketchNZ BlueBulletBill Valmassoi ali985 Coxy224 Fastbro Spark151 *NEWEST MEMBER* Silver39 (Depending on the Story) Right, now I've done that I'll post up some ideas for stories/levels: Idea 1. Overall Story: As we've never known about Sackboy's real-in-game friends why don't we do something related to Christmas that way? I was thinking Silver's idea of Sackboy being in the other side of the world (that way we could theme the levels easier) and using Sketch's idea of the levels continuing from where the last one left off. Idea 2. Overall Story: Same as the one above but Sackboy ventures through all of the Creators level instead of around the world E.G Sketch makes a Christmas themed rocks and gems or something? Idea 3. Individual Stories: You could have options whether to help other people on the way, maybe there is a house that is very cold and needs some wood to light a fire and you choose whether to carry on with your business (getting home) or you can help them. Also I was thinking there could be some sort of race in each level, this would add to the option gameplay. If you like any of these ideas please reply saying that you like either 1 or 2 and then come up with your own idea for individual levels or say that you like Idea 3. | Count me in Yo, It may not seem like it but i'm one hell of a creator, I love action themed levels, My War on Plastic series is aimed toward platforming, but my latest project has halted because of the Flying Machine Sticker Contest... Little hint, my latest level has huge moving environments, colossal scenery and cinematic small events without cutscene (I.E. Half Life Games)... So I can make a action christmas level, like you have to slide across ice on a boat with ice flying everywhere or have a santa sleigh fly across the screen like some movie, I favor the PSP version of LBP other then the PS3, I do have one level for the PS3, but it's just a beta for LBP2... It wouldn't be fair to them if we presented them a level by someone with little experience rather than a level by Velcro or Rage. | Idea 1. Overall Story: As we've never known about Sackboy's real-in-game friends why don't we do something related to Christmas that way? I was thinking Silver's idea of Sackboy being in the other side of the world (that way we could theme the levels easier) and using Sketch's idea of the levels continuing from where the last one left off. Idea 2. Overall Story: Same as the one above but Sackboy ventures through all of the Creators level instead of around the world E.G Sketch makes a Christmas themed rocks and gems or something? Idea 3. Individual Stories: You could have options whether to help other people on the way, maybe there is a house that is very cold and needs some wood to light a fire and you choose whether to carry on with your business (getting home) or you can help them. | Hey guys! In honor of the gift giving holidays, I was thinking about making one mega-review of the 12 Days of Christmas for the Everything Else LBP for PSP section. The review will consist of 12 different segments, each covering one of the levels. This will all be in one thread, that way members and guest don't need to move back and forth in the Level Showcase section to see the project's reviews. So, can I do this? I figured that. Again, I was merely asking, and I wasn't trying to redirect people away from your threads. The main reason why I'm hoping to do this is because rather than giving feedback for every single thread, it would save me more time if I just make a thread with all the feedback altogether; even after I thought of this idea, I knew I can't simply make a thread to give feedback to a series without a proper rating system and constructive criticism, which is why I decided to turn it into a mega-review. It's my simple way of playing and giving my opinion on the series without the hassle of going back and forth; that and it'll link the levels to the threads, that way people reading it can simply click on the link to check the level for themselves.
