Transferring data while keeping trophies enabled

| So, my brother has an issue. He recently got a new PS3 after his old one broke for the 4th time, and He wants to transfer his LBP stuff to the new PS3, but he wants to retain the ability to get trophies. I know that the regular back-up does not support trophies when restored, and so I have been trying to figure out a different solution for him, but I'm not quite sure. I have been reading through the forums, and usually people are suggesting the back-up feature, but this is not going to cut it for my brother. | The data transfer utility would work. its in system options. If you can boot up the old ps3, it makes the new one a working, exact copy. You will need a regular internet cable though. you can use the one attached to your computer. just turn off both ps3's connect the cable to the Ethernet ports on each one, and follow the instructions from there. | 2010-09-12 04:53:00 Author: Deviantgeek  Posts: 386 |
