Kinda like water but It's a "Material" you can place It In any layer In specific areas you can tweak It for: How much weeds, How long the "Grass" Is, How much patches of dirt It has. I think this would be better to have Only In LBP2 because the "Grass" will have to be very detailed (I'm not sure about only LBP2 because I never worked with Mm), and you should be able to tweak the color on A color wheel and sticker the grass and put decorations on It! Hmmm...well you could use decorations. Decorations look cool and flow with "wind" and everything. Although, I'm sure that LBP2 is gonna have enough new features that nobody will be upset about what doesnt show up in the game.

Haha sorry, but MM is pretty much almost done with the game if they already have it in the Beta phase. All there gonna do now is patch stuff up...but then again, there is DLC.

You're typing good now yes. I mean. I just don't honestly see much point. With even more decorations now, and animate-able material it seems we could do without realistic looking grass. Besides I think SackBoy/Girl would look awkward standing in realistic looking grass.

On your next point yo say "Secondly" or "also," and such words, rather than "Second off." @Chinook: I understand getting upset of people putting a downside to your suggestions, but you gotta remember, to many people make too many suggestions, and they're not just gonna automatically accept and like evry single one, pointing out heir good points and their flaws is common in this kind of threads, remember that just because it seems like a good idea doesn't mean it actualy is. So instead of getting mad at the flaws people show in your ideas, fight back and prove them wrong and show why your idea is good indeed, that way you are just making a stronger point why the idea is good and has better chances of being hear and accepted, otherwise you're just telling them they're right on any flaws they give and diminish the chances of your idea becoming a "wanted" one. So fight for your ideas m8, because if you don't back them up, how can you expect others to do so? P.S. There's a "Multyquote" button in the lower right corner of every post, use that to mark posts you wanna quote, and just quote regularly the last post you're quoting, all the quotes should be on the post, so no need for multi-posting. (Its the button next to "Reply with quote" that has the Quote marks next to a + sign. Also, multi-quoting carries over page from page of the same thread, so you can quote many in one page, go to the next one, quote some others, and all the quotes you marked in all pages will be n the post.) It's amazing that a full blown argument can emerge from a speculation of having animated grass in LBP2. Back on topic, nice idea! The tweak options fit right in with the Animatable materials area. Yeah it's probably too late now for it to be in LBP2, but maybe they'll put something like it in future DLC.

Um well on topic, I agree at least that the "grassy" materials in LBP1 look really flat. I don't know if realistic gras would be too feasible, but at least something with a little more apparent volume to it. The sponge textures for the most part look like pillows, not wool with depth.
