Gamestop codes

I never read a actual source that said if the old codes would include the new costumes. I have been reading a few forum threads some saying it is included with the old ones (which makes sense) while others say that the new cards are the only ones to include the new stuff.

does someone have a actual source that says that the old codes work for getting everything?

I am going to gamestop tomorrow to pick up the game so if i need a new code i could get it tomorrow.

if i were you id just get a new code anyways. you might as well. and if the old 1 dose work youll have 2 codes.

I'm not sure, for your answer about new codes, they're the same.

I just went and pre-ordered mine today around 6, got the code as well, and it looks the same, all it says is

"Greetings! Blah blah blah entitled to a Kratos Costume"

Doesn't say anything about the other stuff, hopefully the codes are updated.

is there a limit on how many codes we can have.? like just keep going back saying i never got my code? cause ive seen these on ebay 4 liek 5 dollars. i could get rich.
or enough money 2 get a new controller. =)

at some location they made a new code card that shows the medusa and minotaur on it that is what made me worry that there is a completely different looking card some places got.
I will ask about it tomorrow and yea if i get another code and don't need it then i guess one code to share with you people in the forum.

Well I got the game and am about to go play some Lbp it looks like it doesn't matter since my gamestop still only has the old code cards.

I did get a extra kratos code now and will give it to anyone who asks me for it please don't ask if you already have one.
I will Pm the person with the code.

I got my code card last night when I preordered. When I picked up the game this afternoon I got another one. As long as the guy doesn't remember you or if it's different person, I suggest trying to get a new card. It's a little shady but why not. The gamestop I went to had a huge stack of them. I even tried to get yet another one earlier.

btw, my extra code has already been given to someone. If I get another I'll give it to Cartman to give out.

well morkuma said the stores are restocking with new codes which i guess means you will have to go back to get it.

Yeah my codes not wokring either. I tried to put it in but it wouldn't accept it so no Kratos? Maybe its a thing where they are't avalible until Tuesday for us in the USA?

Update... as of about 8:30AM EST, Codes still don't work.
I really wan't to be able to get online with this game and, hopefully, see the level I made for my niece in the beta.

It's likely the Gamestop codes won't work until the LBP servers go live.

Ok, so I live in the US and I went down to my local Gamestop yesterday (Oct. 25) to go buy LBP. When I arrived I asked for LBP. The guy that was helping me asked one of the other people working there if the LBPs they had were only for pre-orders, she said that more were coming on Monday so I could have one. They also apparently gave me a little slip attached to the box that says I have a added bonus due to pre-order and am entitled to an exclusive. It says it has a bonus level pack and the 3 costumes. The back has directions and a code. But the directions seem faulty. It says go to Account Management, then "enter transaction management". Then "Select Redeem PlayStation Network Card or Promotion Code". Tells me to enter in and that it is case sensitive. Blah blah blah. The problem is that under "Transaction Management" there is no "Select Redeem PlayStation Network Card or Promotion Code" Option. There is something like it under Account Management, but when I enter the code it says that it is wrong or invalid. So yeah, what do I do? I know that I do not deserve the costumes in the first place, but if I got a code, I would like to use it

thanks guys i just read that too bad. Once i got on i was like what's going on i can't redeem i can't get online this is weird. Then i heard the servers were down and i couldn't claim them yet ohh well can't wait.

I was just searching the playstation store as well. Nada on either front. It worries me when it says "may no longer be valid"

I hope it's just that they haven't been activated yet.

Firmware 2.50 changed the layout of Account Management as well. Log into the PlayStation Store and choose "Redeem Code" and go from there. Mind you, I don't think we can get the Gamestop exclusive content yet. Kudos on obtaining a voucher either way; not your fault they hand them out like candy.
