Short & simple: a tweak somewhere that makes it so that you won't lose any points when you die. Could be useful somewhere. What do you think? | 2010-09-11 19:46:00 Author: Unknown User |
This could indeed be useful in minigames where you die in the end. I doubt it will be in there, but nice idea ^^ | 2010-09-11 19:56:00 Author: TjoxYorro Posts: 220 |
Short & simple: a tweak somewhere that makes it so that you won't lose any points when you die. Could be useful somewhere. What do you think? I say that there's a fair chance that's already in: Competitive levels be can set to end on a timer, which will transport you deathlessly to the scoreboard. | 2010-09-11 20:35:00 Author: Melfice Posts: 269 |
A tweak that will make you lose all points will come in handy aswell. | 2010-09-11 21:11:00 Author: Kn0cked-0ut Posts: 562 |
I don't think you can go into negative points, so simply activate a point switch that minuses 1000000 points. | 2010-09-11 21:29:00 Author: Unknown User |
im not sure what you mean but, im pretty sure theres a "end" switch (not sure, again) it teleports (yay teleports) you to the scoreboard without losing points/dieing again, i remember hearing this, but don't take my word for it. | 2010-09-12 11:44:00 Author: huntedstorm Posts: 488 |

Wasn't there a switch that sets a score for you; to go with the one that adds and substracts? And as for the rest of you, I wasn't thinking only of survivals | 2010-09-12 15:28:00 Author: Unknown User |
minus score would be useful, it would allow to use point system as to currency system | 2010-09-12 17:11:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |

And as for the rest of you, I wasn't thinking only of survivals I dunno... there are only two point switches, and one of them adds and subtracts, and one of them detects the amount of points. | 2010-09-12 17:51:00 Author: Unknown User |
Short & simple: a tweak somewhere that makes it so that you won't lose any points when you die. Could be useful somewhere. What do you think? surely what points you alot to players will be adjustable? so perhaps it's already possible | 2010-09-12 19:54:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |
Also, an option to disable score mulitpliers. | 2010-09-16 18:03:00 Author: Unknown User |
Yeah, would make some good settings, what about score dividers? just kidding Unless score's the enemie | 2010-09-16 18:09:00 Author: Dragonvarsity Posts: 5208 |
I dunno... there are only two point switches, and one of them adds and subtracts, and one of them detects the amount of points. Theres only one point switch, it is used for both functions. :o I'm guessing if you wanted to do this (@ OP) you could just set a point switch to -1,000,000 ...... | 2010-09-16 18:10:00 Author: Fishrock123 Posts: 1578 |

Say.. was that a Beta Leak? :o Yeah, I though I'll just minus a 1,000,001 pts and add whatever fits. Interesting gameplay... if your score exceeds, say, 50,000 pts, you would end up with only 10,000 pts (or whatever)... evil. | 2010-09-16 18:47:00 Author: Unknown User |
Sure it wasn't, it was posted somewhere on lbpc? I'll see if I can find it. | 2010-09-16 18:51:00 Author: Fishrock123 Posts: 1578 |
it wasn't, it was posted somewhere on lbpc? I'll see if I can find it. I thought some one posted it regarding comph's pax level? Either way, i'm not in the beta, and it was not from beta vids or whatever. Maybe it's my mind imploding. Though why shouldn't it be one object? | 2010-09-16 19:11:00 Author: Fishrock123 Posts: 1578 |
