Scoring & Death

Short & simple: a tweak somewhere that makes it so that you won't lose any points when you die. Could be useful somewhere.

What do you think?

This could indeed be useful in minigames where you die in the end. I doubt it will be in there, but nice idea ^^2010-09-11 19:56:00

I say that there's a fair chance that's already in:

Competitive levels be can set to end on a timer, which will transport you deathlessly to the scoreboard.

I don't think you can go into negative points, so simply activate a point switch that minuses 1000000 points.2010-09-11 21:29:00

im not sure what you mean but, im pretty sure theres a "end" switch (not sure, again) it teleports (yay teleports) you to the scoreboard without losing points/dieing
again, i remember hearing this, but don't take my word for it.

Wasn't there a switch that sets a score for you; to go with the one that adds and substracts?

And as for the rest of you, I wasn't thinking only of survivals

I dunno... there are only two point switches, and one of them adds and subtracts, and one of them detects the amount of points.

Theres only one point switch, it is used for both functions. :o

I'm guessing if you wanted to do this (@ OP) you could just set a point switch to -1,000,000 ......

Say.. was that a Beta Leak? :o

Yeah, I though I'll just minus a 1,000,001 pts and add whatever fits.

Interesting gameplay... if your score exceeds, say, 50,000 pts, you would end up with only 10,000 pts (or whatever)...
evil.

I thought some one posted it regarding comph's pax level?

Either way, i'm not in the beta, and it was not from beta vids or whatever.

Maybe it's my mind imploding. Though why shouldn't it be one object?
