I remember a while back I tried to find my name in other languages. It seems most languages say cog, as 'teeth' (as cogs have teeth) so I'm: Diente ; in Spanish コグ ; in Japanese Ingranaggio ; in Italian 考 ; in Chinese Tand ; in Dutch تحكم في ; in Arabic Dent ; in French Cog ; in Russian Diş ; in Turkish (Pronounced like dish) Οδοντωτό ; in Greek LOL Listen to Cog in Greek: http://translate.google.com/#en|es|Cog That doesn't sound like a word, more of an eating noise. | 2010-09-12 06:45:00 Author: Kog Posts: 2358 |

Ummm... lol tf did you find that? xD Mercure as in MERCURY? Not silver? x3 anyway, Google won't translate mine... So, I used its english form and got this: French: Corbeau peu Spanish: cuervo poco In English its Little Raven Well....technically speaking, its LeonArgent, (oh hey, I actually like the ring of that. ) but I sometimes use quicksilver, as that's where the "Silver" part is based off. (That and my obsession with all Silver-related. ) And if you tell me Mercure doesn't mean Quicksilver, then I know a French teacher that's gonna have some serious explaining to do... :/ Oh and Little Raven is actually translated as "Cuervo Peque?o," Cuervo Poco" isn't a real sentence, it would be like saying "Raven Some, or Raven a few/ a little bit of." | 2010-09-12 08:57:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
And if you tell me Mercure doesn't mean Quicksilver, then I know a French teacher that's gonna have some serious explaining to do... :/ Quicksilver=Mercury=Mercure but silver doesnt. | 2010-09-12 09:06:00 Author: Bremnen Posts: 1800 |
Napero is finnish but yeah... English: tiny tot French: tout-petit Spanish: tot peque?os Portugese: tot min?sculos German: Winzling I dunno... I prefer napero | 2010-09-12 09:13:00 Author: napero7 Posts: 1653 |
QuickSILVER=Mercury=Mercure but silver doesnt. Also what you call a really fast person, like saying Quicksilver-Leon. Which is what the name's based off, I know it has nothing to do with actual "Silver" dude. But part of it has the word "Silver" in it, so I like it, and Quicksilver, aka speedy/ really fast is the other meanin I use for it, not the "Mercury" meaning. Tes, it is right, no its not the one I mean. | 2010-09-12 09:15:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
anyway, Google won't translate mine... So, I used its english form and got this: French: Corbeau peu Spanish: cuervo poco In English its Little Raven Mwhaha, Google ftw I think it'd be something like Petit Corbeau and Peque?o Cuervo. This sounds so much better ! :hero: I like yours. | 2010-09-12 09:46:00 Author: Oddmania Posts: 1305 |
Mwhaha, Google ftw I think it'd be something like Petit Corbeau and Peque?o Cuervo. This sounds so much better ! :hero: I like yours. Petite is small as for quicksilver...sounds more like an expression in the way your using it, than an actual word for speed Google translator says..Mercure does means quicksilver, but it doesn't recognize it as a form of quick, just as mercury. :/ i'd say quicksilver(as a word for speed) is more of a regional expression than a literal word. Since the main form is mercury.. | 2010-09-12 10:11:00 Author: Bremnen Posts: 1800 |
Petite is small Petit means little too. Didn't you say Bremnen means Little Raven ? | 2010-09-12 10:23:00 Author: Oddmania Posts: 1305 |
