Code was just talking about this on iScribble... which confused me. Anyway, hope it's true- then I can have it Saturday AND Sunday, and not have to wait till my mom gets home on Monday to drive me to Gamestop, which would be hard on her anyway. Hope this is true. Guess I'll find out when I get a call from Gamestop.

i just got a call from Gamestop a few minutes ago, this is amazing news, that call has literaly made my day and am really giddy right now but the thing is that i just got the R2 beta and now it will be hard to chose between the 2, i was going to fill the gap with that but i guess now there is not much gap to fill now, lol that is how happy i am X10 lol Cheers all!

it's true, i got a call from gamestop saying it's available on sat at gamestop... i'll be over there at or before 12:00 noon, so i can get my copy asap... good luck to all, and a happy time playing! even though... a random day luanch makes the game not special... when a game has a set date, and everybody is eager, and tenting out infront of the stores... that's when the fun of pre orders are shown... think about it, if they delayed the launch of the ps3 for a week, they would lose half their pre orders... i'd bet my life on it... all those people camping out having to wait another week then expected... they would have a consumer strike, which is what we should do with this game, if it wasent for mm, the small company hoping to become a giant among giants. i'm honestly telling you if this was any other company other then mm, i would have canceled my pre order, and possibly not have goten the game, period. or waited til it was on clearnece to make sure sony wouldnt get a large sum from me. this incident honestly changed my perspective of sony... so much had happened to me from them just from this one game... i'm not even gonna list what happened with the beta... lucky i had littlebigmidget lets just say...

I've got a call in to my local Gamestop "source" (former student who is an assistant manager) - he is checking it out this morning (Pacific Time/California)... If they are selling I'll post an update.

I was one of the super impatient people that got it off Ebay, so I already have the game but I am very glad the community will be up and running today!! I've been waiting to tackle these co-op areas with people, and I need help finding some of these mercilessly hidden prize bubbles. You know, I was originally very skeptical about this game because it looked like some bs platforming game with limited potential to me. One day though I looked up LBP on Youtube and was amazed at what people did, and it instantly made me want to see more. Now that I have my hands on the game I can say that what the reviewers say is completely true. If this game were just a single player endeavor it would still be a fantastic game because it's so imaginative and fun. But the fact that each person can make levels means there is unlimited replay value. My PS3 went from paperweight to heavyweight with one game. LBP = 10/10

They dont have them here in the US so I think thats when they shipped I checked everywhere: Target Gamestop Walmart Costco EVERYWHERE Yet no one has it until monday/tuesday

Hmmm... the guy I know at this Gamestop in Northern California doesn't want me to come in to pick it up - he wants to bring me the copy after he gets off his shift. So now I don't know if he is doing me a favor and letting me get it early - or if they can legit sell it today. Right now I am only communicating with him by texting. Texting to find out if this is available to the public at large would be a ton of tiny typing - so I'll ask him when he comes by. Should be in a couple of hours (4 pm-ish Pacific Time)...

Hey guys, I just wanted everyone to know that even if you haven't pre-ordered the game, you can still buy it today. I just went to Game Crazy and picked it up. I found out they had it when I went to Little Big Planet on Wikipedia. I normally don't trust that site but I called them and they really did have it. Woot!!

Quick Question.... I have an early copy of the game (pre recall) and for the last few days I have not been able to go online with it as it keeps telling me the following.... "A problem occured when attempting to connect with the little big planet servers (402)" Until today I thought that the servers would be out of commission until the official re-release of the game on the 27th. Now I am reading that many are getting new copies of the game but I am still getting that message Is everyone getting that message right now (naughty pre re-release people, and good official release people) or is it just me thats getting that message? Any input would be great.... and yes I know that wasn't a quick question

i live in canada and got mine today from eb games, the guy said that their branch got a email saying to sell them once they came in and its the offical updated version too (after recall version) but i also called two other ebgames, future shop, walmart, and they all said they didnt have it in some even said to wait till nov 9... so i dont know whats going on, i suspect also the severs will be up either the 27th or 30th... keep looking guys the games are out there, just everythings screwed up
