This is a suggestion. I want them to allow us to edit 'sent objects'. The current system is crap.

I think that there should be options for this such as: 1) Allow editing to only the recipient 2)Allow public editing 3) No editing It would be a simple feature if u ask me

There should be an entirely seperate system for "object sharing"... like in MNR there are different categories for mods, karts & tracks. Don't know if this is already implemented though

Don't know if this is already implemented though Yeah we should be able to separate between objects, mods traks and Karts too- Wait a sec... :S Oh that's righ I forgot LBP doesn't have those, and objects are sent as objects, pics are sent as pics and levels are sent as levels. Also, allowing people to edit shared objects was possible before, nut was removed due to the large amount of people getting objects, editing them a little and calling them their own creations, as when done that, copying it and recapturing it would give the reciever full credit to him/ her, leaving the actual creator in the shadows.. Remembery the Mighty Mite Tank? People stealing it and claiming it as their own was one of the main reasons this issue was aknowledged and adressed. This was done recently, so I doubt they'd re-install something they removed do to the moajority of people asking for that, you know? So doubt its happening and I'm glad its like that.

And here the guy who said that in creation mode you just need to be careful to not let people copy creations XD But if they removed, you right, it probably won't return

No you misunderstood me. I didn't mean SENDING objects, I meant sharing them with the community. In LBP1 you need to make a level containing said object. What if I just want a certain piece of logic for my creation, so rather than make it myself I just pull up the "community objects" menu in create mode, and SEARCH for objects shared by the community. Rather than having to quit out of create mode and go onto a "free prizes" level which doesn't save any time. You can never find just 1 object you like in LBP1 - they are found within levels which give you other useless objects and that you have to play through.

You could still place something in a level and claim you made it. Couldn't they just change it so copying and recapturing wouldn't list them as the "original creator" I'm forced to play as guest because I've got a profile glitch and if I emit something into the Background with Comph's tools, I'm not allowed to edit it and loads of other objects aren't editable for no reason They should atleast change it so objects sent as gifts are editable.
