Remember how the fanboys started rating down LBP's userscore like lunatics? http://metacritics.com/games/platforms/xbox360/gearsofwar2 Oh, what a sight to behold. Don't get me wrong, I love both consoles, but a certain part of me is happy this happened.

You can see what's going to happen next? Resistance 2 user score hits 1.5, then whatever the next 360 exclusive will be will hit 1, and the people behind Meta's marketing department will be laughing all the way to the bank from all the ad sales they'll get. Better hits means they'll be able to charge more for their ads.

i think fanboy attacks are very dum. whoever does those are just morons. but ether way its just a rating in all the magazines you see Gears of war 2 like rated 9/10 and stuff. it will be a great game ether way! and gears of war isnt really an xbox only game. it is for PC too.

Here I was thinking that PS3 owners were above such childish games... Anyways... I played Gears and, personally, it wasn't my style. Not that it was a bad game or anything. I just couldn't get into it. As for early rating... why sites allow people to rate games BEFORE their release is beyond me. The voting system should be locked until at least a week after launch so that people could have time to soak in the game instead of people posting stuff like,"OMG WTF BBQ!!!! Box art shiny! Must PWN all!!!!! 99999999/10!!!"

This amuses me greatly. Rampant fanboyism at its best. That sad part is that there are so many great games for both systems, yet by choosing sides, they are only hurting themselves in the end. In my opinion it's much more fun to be a gaming harlot. Double the pleasure!
