Beta Levels?
Archive: 18 posts
I was just derping around in Minecraft, thinking about the Beta, when I thought of a question. If you make and publish a Level in the Beta, will it count as one of your Level Spaces? (Might be a stupid question, but Ive never been/participated/wondered in a beta. Thanks! :SH: | 2010-09-09 00:22:00 Author: ThePineapplizer Posts: 769 |

Just taking a wild guess, here, but I'm going to say yes. I don't see why the beta would be any different from the actual game, other than bug fixes and the like. | 2010-09-09 00:43:00 Author: crazymario Posts: 657 |
Beta levels and creations will not carry over into the full game. So, no. They'll count during the beta, but once that's over they'll be gone permanently. | 2010-09-09 03:40:00 Author: Tyler Posts: 663 |
Yes the beta is basically the final game but with many possible bugs. like last time the levels you make during the beta wont carry over to the final product. | 2010-09-09 04:48:00 Author: Serpent541 Posts: 83 |

I could be wrong but isn't it that anything published is not carried over but if something is saved to a profile then that person will still have it in the full game. Much like it was with the Modnation Racers demo. I could be wrong though and I have no doubt that if I am someone will make it known lol. | 2010-09-09 06:32:00 Author: DarKnighT_0_9 Posts: 91 |
If I remember correctly they allowed people to keep their LBP1 Beta levels. I can't remember exactly since I remember seeing it as a post on Joystiq 2 years ago I think. Mm said that no, your levels will not translate over. | 2010-09-09 07:43:00 Author: PPp_Killer Posts: 449 |
Gevurah22 (Azure Palace) as well as LittleBigCalculator, To Zanarkan 1.0, and many others, were all made in the LBP1. Now rememebr back then there was no leerhammer, and no option to back up levels to hard drive... But yet somehow those levels were eventually put back in the final build (i remember ppl begging to see azure palace back into LBP for some reason) But things have changed so we might have a way to save our beta levels onto HDD for later use..(just a guess) | 2010-09-09 10:02:00 Author: Brand Newdles Posts: 13 |
Well to put it simply~ No, Anything you make in the LBPbeta stays with the beta only, you can't take anything at all with you~ *mew | 2010-09-09 10:48:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |

Begging for a beta code here will do you no good, so I guess you just have to wait a little longer | 2010-09-09 16:43:00 Author: Kn0cked-0ut Posts: 562 |

the NA *North America* beta is set to launch on the 14th, hope i get in, if i do, see you there | 2010-09-09 18:54:00 Author: Unknown User |
Sorry for the bump, but I remember there being a way to import levels from the water beta by exporting a blank level to Save Data, then overwriting the file with your beta level. This way the save still maintained the ability to be copied back into the actual game, allowing you to keep and publish your work. And there are countless examples of this. | 2010-10-05 20:23:00 Author: Unknown User |
