PSP Collected All Gifts but NO PRIZE?

Archive: 5 posts

Hey I have a question about something that happened to me on PSP but maybe could also happen on PS3.

Anyways, I had ran through the level "Dogged Determination" the first time and missed nearly half the prizes. The second time I went through (I realized there were a lot of materials I was missing) and couldn't find 1 of the prize bubbles. So I looked up online and sure enough I found a guide showing where every prize bubble for that level was and I found the last one. However I quit the level right after I had found this item (not thinking) and realized that I didn't receive the "Blue Glass" material for collecting all gifts. So I went back through this long level and collected all the prize bubbles again even though I was only receiving score points and no prizes to see if I would receive the blue glass and NO, I did not.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem? Or maybe the blue glass material isn't actually received for collecting all gifts on this level?

Thanks in advance

I've heard similar reports before, i.e. that if you quit the level before touching the scoreboard during the playthrough in which you pick up the last prize bubble in the level, that there's no way to subsequently get the Collected All Gifts prizes for that level, other than to delete your profile and start the game over, although I can't vouch for the accuracy of these reports.

Ok that sounds like what I'll have to do but first I'll make a copy of my profile again and see if there's a way to delete my level progress for that one specific level..Thanks for the info though!

In case you haven't deleted it yet, I'll move this thread into the PSP forums, and see if we can get a second opinion from someone there.
