Just Have Fun, YO!Cloverkid1991
OK, most good levels have a theme, that's true. But there are plenty of great levels that are basically random but just fun to play. I think this one fits that category.
Here are some screenshots to give you an idea of what to expect. Please try it out and let me know what you think, and how I can improve it. I will def give F4F....Thanks!

Nice job, man! One of the few community levels I actually played more than once! You have this neat artistic style in your level somewhere between modern art and graffiti. There's just so much to look at! I definitely recommend this to everyone!2010-09-07 23:16:00

Hi there, I was able to play your level tonight, and I did have fun. YO! I don't think a lack of theme is a problem. The randomness is sufficiently thematic, if that makes any sense. I liked the choice of music and use of colorful stickers. The game play wasn't very hard, but I don't think it needed to be. Well, it was hard enough that I didn't complete the race in time, but I'm generally terrible at completing races with time left. I do enjoy the challenge of that though. Lots of point bubbles keeps things interesting, I think.

For improvement you should perhaps experiment with some lighting and try your hand with the corner edit tool at cleaning up unnecessary corners. The grid also helps with getting that nice clean look.

Still it was a fun level to run through. Thanks so much for your feedback on my level and good luck with yours.

Thanks for playing the level and the positive comments...really appreciate the feedback, thanatos989, and yes, I would like to mess around with some lighting effects...that is def something I have not played around much with and I know there is huge potential with that. Eliminator, yeah, I worry a little about having too much going on - some of the best levels are clean and not visually overwhelming - so I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for playing! Anyone else that provides feedback and wants feedback from me, let me know.2010-09-08 13:21:00

This level was pretty fun actually. Quite a good length as well, and though there was a lot of time given for the race, it soon ran down but I still got like 6000 points at the finish gate.

I understand that the point of the level is not to have a theme... but this doesn't mean that obstacles have to be wonky. Awkward bumps to climb up needn't be there, even if you're going for a slapdash visual style. I think a better idea may be to design each individual area as though you have a theme, and make them look nice with the small grid and putting details and features in, but then cobble things together in a slapdash way. Or at least tidy up some of the paths.

Thanks for the feedback, Thor...Wonky, as a newbie to this forum I think I know what it means and I like the word! And yes, I can see where some areas of the level could be described as wonky. I need to get more accustomed to using the grid in designing...it is a useful tool that I need to take advantage of. I appreciate the advice and I am glad you played the level....I'll play cake survival this morning for F4F - thx!2010-09-10 12:40:00

Just played it now, I found the puzzles and obstacles to be entertaining. Not a lot for me to say that already hasn't been said. I like the style, but if you used the grid it would make it much better! Keep on creating! (Check out my level if you have time - The Water Temple )2010-09-10 23:34:00
