Hello! I just bought a playstation 3, which I'm going to use mostly as a media center/bluray player. I played this game once and it was very fun, but i can't decide if i should get it or wait approximately 2 months (I think) for LBP2? What would you do? Thanks.

I'd probably buy it for now. It's about 20 bucks used and 30 bucks new for the GOTY edition. It'd give you a two month head start on LBP so you can have fun and also know if LBP2 for 60 dollars would be worth your while. Also, if you're planning to create, I'm betting that some materials will only be on LBP1 since I don't think all of LBP1 is on the LBP2 disc, so if you want to get everything I'd et it. Plus hey, two extra months of fun for relatively cheap. You could also sell it once LBP2 comes out.

Another question though, do i get all downloadable content availible in GOTY? Are they on the disc, or do i get codes to download them?

Are they on the disc, or do i get codes to download them? I'm pretty sure all the DLC is included on the GOTY (going by reading people say they got it without going online). However, not all DLC is on the GOTY, namely the POTC pack (which brings water in), but it features the Metal Gear Solid pack (which brings the paintinator/ gun in) for free, so yeah. It's a pretty good dealeven if it's only 2 months till the bigger game- but those two months will be better with LBP

Heres something else you should buy Littlebigplanet 2 Collectors Edition!!!!! im getting it and if you love sackboy you get a sackboy plushy with it but only if you preorder it.
