My Latest Fliers

Archive: 12 posts

Ok so as you may know I'm quite keen on building fliers. Here's some more I've been working on recently. The usual rules apply of no jetpacks or rails, just rockets emitters and mag switches!

Hammerhead Heavy Gunship:
My first multiplayer flyer, it can take a pilot and a gunner and does a small mode change transformation dependng on whether a gunner is present. It is armed with four tracer paint machine guns, two heavy tracer paint machine guns and two paint plasma cannons. This is undoubtedly my most revolutionary flier because it features direct control!!! R1 is only used for ignition and weapons! All flying is controlled by the left stick alone! Yes, near full directional control being able to detect when the left stick is pushed left or right and up or down!

Hornet Racing flyer:
My fastest flyer yet, based off my previous smaller military flier (the Pirahna), but this time sacrificing weapons for speed.

M*A*S*H H-13:
The famous M*A*S*H helicopter, now in LBP!! (note "Hawkeye" Pierce costume!). My least stable flyer, mainly because all my flight tech had to be squashed into the area below the mast, and these usually take up an area the size of the big yellow sticker on the Hornet

The gunship looks badass. It reminds me of the game Dropship, have you played it? Here's a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHGnfoo8B3E2010-09-07 05:49:00

-DR-: Thanks!

PeaceMaker: Thanks!

Ayneh: Thanks! Yeah I remember playing a demo of that years ago.

foobfighters: Thanks! No, no prizes unfortunately.

TheChannel: Thanks!

Frogboy: Yes they can fly! Search my name on youtube and take a look at the newest flyer videos to see how stable I can make them without using rails!

Ragnarok: Thanks but I think you've misunderstood, by Piranha I was referring to the previous flyer I had built and showcased here. Although it is easy to instantly associate spaceship racing with the Wipeout series. No, none of these are currently published.

Oh, but it does looks like a piranha wipeout ship, you even mentioned that it has no weapons at all and is really fast as the real wipeout ship, it would be easy to get confused XD anyway, good job, those are amazing!2010-09-25 06:26:00
