From what I've heard it's supposed to be like cookies that are created by web sites, to remember information about a particular site (like passwords). What it will do supposedly in LBP2 is save data from a level that can be used in another level, or when the player returns to a level. Basically like the idea in this thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=34623-Profile-saved-variables-and-why-LBP2-needs-them.).

I haven't heard or not if it will be in the game, but I really hope it will.

A cookie switch is an idea suggested by someone on this site.
It's a switch that activates after you have completed the level and gone back to do it. So it's turns on when you go through your second try of a level, meaning you could completly change everything the second time round.

Sorry to say but VnGamer234 is wrong.

Or maybe it's both.

No.... you are wrong.. -_-

The cookie switch, should be like a "saving" feature.
F example. If you're playing a rpg, and collected some currency and armor.
And when you activate the switch, quit the level and go back in. You still have the items.

@Bluetoes1: It's just an idea, he clearly said in this thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=28362-quot-Cookie-quot-Switch&highlight=cookie+switch) that it can have more uses than what was mentioned.

Both what you and I mentioned can qualify as a 'cookie' switch. It saves something from a level that can be recalled later on. As you mentioned it can even be recalled after the player returns to a level for the second time, possibly completely changing the level.

Alright, I can tell theres alot of contraversy here, lets compromise, k? it will be, a device, that gives you cookies the second time you play a level that you can bring back whenever you want.2010-09-05 23:52:00
