Favourite Game Soundtracks

I'm sorry if this is one of numerous threads that are like each other. But I haven't seen any, so I will post this!

The title says it all really. I'm on my Ipod now so I can't send you the link, but one of my favourite soundtrack songs is called 'Dogs of War' and it's from "Medal of Honor: European Assault".

Look it up if you're interested. What are your favourite game soundtracks?

For "Paid" soundtracks I'll go with:

- GTA Vice City (and Stories);
- GTA San Andreas;
- GTA 4: Episodes of Liberty City;

For non-paid soundtracks:

- Uncharted 1 and 2;
- Mirror's Edge;

Little Big Planet 2 has an awesome soundtrack so far!

Actually, lol, crazy you put that as the first one on your list because I almost put it as the last one on mine :o

I did like the music from that but I would have liked more of it on the levels as well, even just ambience because having it just for bosses meant you didnt get to listen to it very much 		2010-09-05 02:08:00

Turrican (Chris Huelsbeck FTW, he did crazy stuff with 16 bit Tech)
Bayonetta (incredible soundtrack that ranges from J-Pop to Orchestral Stuff)
Metal Gear Solid (one of the most iconic theme EVER)
Castlevania Symphony Of The Night (pure awesomeness)

Other final fantasys had better sequenced and more complicated arrangements than 7...

When you listen to the black mage versions of all the popular songs, and it gives all the songs an equal production value you can really see the difference.		2010-09-05 15:38:00

You know, sometimes it's not the most epic soundtrack or most musically complex that wins, but the most catchy. I've had this song locked in my head since my childhood and still whistle it from time to time.
