Well, this time I'm making a thread with a full level already done! Now, all I have left to do is test it. That's where some of you come in. I need a few people who are willing to thouroughly test this level and give feedback. If you're interested, let me know and I'll PM you the code for my lockbox. Foliage(flowers, plants, vines etc.) and other little visual flourishes(expand on that double stone effect you used, it's awesome), perhaps make the fire pulsate with red light? Also, when you exit the cave, the light settings and sky is a bit plain. How about smoke(maybe), a few clouds and a few well placed LEDs and lights to mix it up a bit. I've got my first day of school starting Tuesday and have soccer (or futbol, however it's said around the world ) games/practice every week day, so progress from now on will be slow. I can't test it? Well, I'll just give some criticism ANYWAY! You should have stalactites and stalagmites, and you should (in sections that are built on the grid) have forgotten ruins that have stalactites and mites growing on them, to show that they are intriguingly old. You should also have little water drops, and plants sustained by mysterious shafts of light coming from above, and fossils embedded in the walls. Okay, I played the level and here's what I thought. I thought the visuals were good in this level, you did a nice job with lighting plus I loved the changing of the themed from a fiery cave to the part with the water and waterfall to getting out of the cave and I liked the exploion you made. Not much design with stickers and maybe incorporate more gameplay because I didn't feel like I was doing much besides some jumping and swinging on the moss and swimming in water. Plus the level felt kinda short, maybe that was because the changing of themes but I'd love to see more gameplay and if so add different gameplay elements. The text was pretty cool but there wasn't really a story but instead just a little bit of talk and I noticed there was a secret or two with extra points, more secret areas with a little more visual might be better. Let's see... only 2 secrets? You didn't find them all anyway. I'd say there are about 5 or 6! Also, I know it does feel short, but if you get all the secrets, and go for all of the bubbles, it will fall in the 5-8 minute range. I find that very reasonable. I didn't want the level annoyingly long, or just way to short. As for gameplay, it is only platforming. Some will enjoy it, and some people will not like it at all. Personally, I like platforming and I made this level for my own pleasure, not particularly to please the community. Obviously, I want people to like it, but I like it and that's really what matters.
