Sakure Breeze/ Mini Ninja's / Oni's Returnjiamind
A islands tribute to my main demon Oni.
This level is one of my personal best, based off a traditional japanese era and the monster oni from the islands theme.

So you are the ninja sneaking into temple of oni. Me knowing the lbp community you will already alert a ninja in its recon post. So as you sneak in the temple, you will notice my version of the islands theme ninja's, and 2 of the original lbp bosses. The music will change as the feel of the level will change, if you follow the dialouge of the level.

My curiosity is along the level what are the most fustrating moments for the lbp players?
Ceiling hanging? traps you can feel with the dualshock controller? the fiery hallway before the final fight to oni?
lack of bubbles?

...So I played the level and while it had some bright sides it also had some murky ones.

The scenery was pretty good. The opening didn't leave much to wish. I didn't undertsand at all how to not alert the sleeping ninjas though. I played it about 4 times in a row there and tryed swimming in diffret speeds but still they were alerted. I do think it's a clever system, having the ninja crew know about you or not. When they did shoot the shots were pretty hard to spot and therefor hard to avoid. Frustrating!

..I actually got stuck in the level pretty early. By the room where you were supposed to swing in the cialing right after the ninja with the throwing knifes. I tryed to swig to the left mutliple times but failed miserably. I did read the bubble but that didn't offer any good tips either. I was completly clueless on how to proceed. maybe you could make it clearer somehow?


..One more thing. Is it possible to kill the throwing knife ninja? like, he's pretty annoying and it's awkard coming uop yo him without being able to kill him xD
"Well..uhh..hey!...you still throwing those knifes? It's good for practise you say? Ah."

But yeah! Once I get acces to the whokle level I'll be sure to play the rest of it! xD

Btw, don't you mean "sakura" (Cherry blosom) breeze, not "Sakure" (no meaning as far as I know) breeze?

Or are you going for something else, like an original name, or something unreleated?

I mirror these sentiments. Is the level broken at this part? Or is there something we're both missing? I couldn't proceed either. That throwing knife ninja is quite annoying and he should be made of dissolve so you can kill him.

This level did show some promise at the beginning, with nice presentation but it did go downhill from there. Once it's fixed so it tells you what to do, or so that you can actually do what it says, I can give more feedback. This level still needs some work.

I just played the level and heres my feedback:

Positives:
+Nice intro into the level with the swimming idea

Negatives:
-Couldn't get the race started due to how high it was
-Second Ninja in the beginning while your swimming he spots you while your under water?

Sugguestion:
-maybe try adding a proximity switch and adjusting the radius above the water so if you pop up to the surface then he spots you..

Overall this level was needs little bit more work::star::star:

ythe reason why i never killed the throwing knife ninja was texture issues but i will. update from there. The race gate is optional. As soon as i get back from work. I will Fix my level's & test others
As for yhe proximity switch, its on therem the radius is broke. I said forget it, your going to touch the lillypads anyways.

So i updated the throwing star ninja can be killed, i didn't want to take away from the effects of moving across the ceiling so i put another speech box in. maybe you guys will get it. i think that is the only thing holding my level up, other than the firey hallway, if you guys dare to that blind platformer
