Space Invaders 2 - The Invaders Strike Back (Survival Challenge) With Videofluxlasers A little big version of the classic arcade game. This is the second Space Invaders level I've created. The first one was fairly basic and only included two waves of invaders due to the limits of the thermometer. It was very easy to complete, but it was a very useful exercise to try some of the mechanics and logic I've used in this new version. I don't think the level requires much explanation - the invaders are making their way down to the planet's surface and you have to hold them off for as long as possible. This is a survival challenge (the same as the original arcade game), you cannot beat them - this time they have an infinite number of waves. I've seen quite a few Little Big Planet levels based on Space Invaders, however most of these seem to concentrate on recreating the look of the original invaders, but often lacked playability.
