Any Suggestions Of Places To Get An Early Copy In The Uk

Archive: 28 posts

I'm gonna see if i can get it tomorrow from some shops that might not know they have been recalled.
Obviously it was ment to be the Release date (24th) tomorrow in the UK and I'm hoping to find some dumb companies/employees that might have the game for sale.
I think it will probably be a waste of time but i'm gonna try anyway lol
I think it will be hard as the controversy of the delay was in a few of our national papers and on the news. Before this happened, when i tried to explain about LBP to anyone, they had never heard of it. But since the recall every time i mention LBP to anyone that are not gamers, the first thing they say is "Oh, that's that game that got recalled because of that muslim thing right?"
So news has spread far and wide and it's gonna be a hard mission to find the game for sale.
But it can't hurt to try

So any suggestions of places you've heard may be still selling it???????
Please i'm desperate :o:o:o:o

try Morrisons. Im called them up tonight acting dumb asking when its released hoping to hear tomorrow. A was put on to a bored 'I hate this job' kind of person, and im sure you will, as my other local morrisons was like this too. According to him, game release info is updated on fridays, so they should be non the wiser about game releases if youre lucky.

I just rung morrisons, they said the same thing that they don't update the thing until tomorrow, and to ring them back after 9am tomorrow. Fingers crossed! 2008-10-23 19:39:00

Oh i see, you ment several different ones.
It can't hurt. But seeing as they are the same company i would think they would have the same info on the recall

just encase it gets messed up with the DLC and stuff
Don't know if it makes any difference if the version you play isn't from your region??

Thing is, even if i manage to get a early copy. My PS3 is shagged and still isn't playing disks (tried formatting it last night and wiped everything off it, but still no joy grr ) so I will have to get a new PS3 at the same time
'WHICH SUCKS'

Imagine the irony of me being able to get a copy of LBP but not being able to find a new PS3 lol
