This seems like it would be a common problem, but I searched through the forums and didn't see anything. Sorry if it is a repost. I'm trying to make a ramp for a vehicle. The problem is that no matter how gradual I make the ramp, occasionally the vehicle hits the start of it like a car hitting a curb. I even tried making the entire level one big piece of cardboard so there would be no transition from the floor to the ramp, but the same thing happened. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

It would seem that something is wrong with your vehicle, OR the ramp is to steep. Or a mix of both.

How large are the wheels on the vehicle? If you make larger wheels, you my lessen the curb effect.

If you are not alredy, use the corner edeting tool. And try makeng the wheels bigger and the ramp less steep. Also is there something sticking out if the front of the car that would hit the ramp befor the wheels?

Is it possible that the wheel are made of thin material and the ramp is made from Thick material? is so then the wheels and Ramp don't collide. (Big problem I had in the past >.<) To fix: Select the ramp Press L3 Make thin and put it on the same layer as the wheels Press X

That sounds likely. I had similar issue with my Sheep Racing level. A thin-layer 'leg' was digging in. Solved by making course from 3 identical shaped layers instead of a single thick one. Then any thin-layer part will slit between the layers and not dig in.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think it might be something with a thin layer colliding with the ramp I have but I haven't thoroughly tested it. The weird thing is that it only happens occasionally. I went ahead and published the level anyway as this is merely a minor annoyance. If you guys could check it out and see what you think (about the level in general and the ramp issue), that would be great. It's my first level, so any feedback or advice would be much appreciated.
