Umm I've made a signature using GIMP and saved it as a PNG file. It's 400x146. But it exceeds the memory. This site allows no more than 9.8KB but mine is 39.1KB. How do i lessen the size or what do I do? Cheers.

I don't use GIMP, so I don't really know how to help you. In Photoshop there's a "Save for web" option which allows you to tweak the settings until you achieve a certain filesize. There's a much easier method, though. You could upload the image to imageshack.us and put it between [*img][/img] tags(without the asterisk) in your signature. That way there's a larger limit.
