mouth synced w/ voice over
Archive: 15 posts
im not sure how they would program it but they should make a tool that allows you to connect a voice recording to a sackbot so that whenever enough sound is coming through the recording, the sackbot's mouth starts moving. Usually the sackbot/boys mouths are closed or smiling or whatever, and it would be hard to associate a random recording to the sackbot. EDIT 2: i saw a video recently that confirmed this so moderators can lock this if you want | 2010-09-02 00:04:00 Author: Unknown User |
I'm assuming it works the same as speaking through a headset in LBP1, notcomplete synch, but the mouth moves when the person talks, which would seem most logical for Voice over talking of course. If you don't know what I mean, find someone with a head set and see how the sackboy's mouth moves whenver hey talk. | 2010-09-02 00:16:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |

If you're not worried, why did you even start a thread? | 2010-09-02 05:38:00 Author: LukeCF Posts: 790 |
As far as I'm concerned, the lips will move with the recording if wanted ALREADY | 2010-09-02 05:41:00 Author: Unknown User |
Maybe I'm just seeing things, but I think in LBP1 the lip-syncing actually changed depending on what sound you were making while talking too. If you do a long "ooooooo" sound, I think his mouth curves more like it would if a person was making the sound. And maybe I'm crazy lol. I realize this doesn't completely relate but I'd like to see something like that in LBP2 for voice overs. | 2010-09-02 09:25:00 Author: Grinchy Posts: 10 |

As far as I'm concerned, the lips will move with the recording if wanted ALREADY WE CANT MAKE VOICE RECORDINGS IN LBP 1 ?! im talking specifially about SACKBOTS, not majig mouths, or the affect you get when you plug in a headset and mic. The ultimate purpose of this thread is to have NPCS (sackbots) that actually talk AND have their mouths moving. | 2010-09-05 03:28:00 Author: Unknown User |
I was talking about LBP2's voice recording thingy. Pardon for my poor wording. | 2010-09-05 09:35:00 Author: Unknown User |
I was talking about LBP2's voice recording thingy. Pardon for my poor wording. Ironic considering you're a spelling freak and chew off anyone's head off if they misspell a word. | 2010-09-05 10:03:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
I don't bother about caring the exact order of those words... but the order of the letters... Besides, my super shotgun broke... so... | 2010-09-05 10:48:00 Author: Unknown User |

The only thing that I can get to look synced is play 'Still Alive' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6ljFaKRTrI) over the microphone | 2010-09-05 13:14:00 Author: Nurolight Posts: 918 |

On the topic of the mouth moving, if you talk while recording actions for a sackbot, will that record too? Hard question since I doubt anybody could take their headset into a gaming convention | 2010-09-05 15:40:00 Author: Snappyguy Posts: 710 |
