			| I've just been into Gamestation and had it confirmed that the UK collectors edition is definitely on their system and coming at some point. They haven't received a code yet so it's not available to preorder but they did confirm that it includes the plush sackboy and the bookends the same as in the US edition. No official price yet either but no doubt we'll be paying much more for it. We usually end up paying the same in pounds as the US does in dollars. i.e. if it's $70-$80 in the US it will probably be ?70-?80 in the UK. That's just my guess though, nothing official, but I'll be surprised if I'm wrong. Anyway the good news is we will be getting the collectors edition. No news on DLC yet as that will probably be different for each store you order it from and yet to be decided. | 2010-09-01 17:19:00 Author: mistervista Posts: 2210 |

That's just my guess though, nothing official, but I'll be surprised if I'm wrong. It probably won't be as much as ?70. I think ?60 is more realistic. | 2010-09-01 17:35:00 Author: Rhys125 Posts: 841 |
| Will we ever get any info on a LBP CE for EU .. | 2010-09-01 17:38:00 Author: Alec Posts: 3871 |
| If they do make us pay the same I will go on a rampage. I expect it to be under ?20 more than the full game. I.e. If full game is ?40, I expect it to be in between the range of 40-60. Any more and I will not be a happy bunny.. At least we're also getting the plush sackboy! (Which is basically all I wanted anyway) | 2010-09-01 17:38:00 Author: Plasmavore Posts: 1913 |
| @crazealec: I believe a UK collectors edition would work fine on most PS3's in Europe and have no trouble with different codes and such, yes? UK is a part of EU I believe? | 2010-09-01 17:43:00 Author: moonwire Posts: 1627 |
| $70 = around ?55. | 2010-09-01 18:10:00 Author: Bluetoes1 Posts: 98 |
| [..] UK is a part of EU I believe? It is indeed ?55 seems reasonable.. | 2010-09-01 18:13:00 Author: Plasmavore Posts: 1913 |
| $70 = around ?55. Yes, exactly my point. That is what we 'SHOULD' be paying. If it is I'll be very happy. We will see ! | 2010-09-01 18:16:00 Author: mistervista Posts: 2210 |
| Just realised, everyone in this thread is wrong, even me. The Collectors Edition is $80 And $80 = around ?55 | 2010-09-01 18:17:00 Author: Bluetoes1 Posts: 98 |
| HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!! Well... Sort of. At least we now know that UK is getting a collectors edition (I live in France but I've got an British PSN account), but, due to the fact that MM, the CREATORS PROGRAMMERS DESIGNERS OF LBP, are based in England, I find it unfair that Sony have released ALL THE DETAILS about the collectors edition in USA, on the other side of the world from MM, the CREATORS PROGRAMMERS DESIGNERS OF LBP... Sorry, I'm ranting... Still, we know we're getting it, but WHEN?! Food for thought... Malyatrax | 2010-09-01 18:31:00 Author: malyatrax Posts: 130 |
| At the moment, $80 = ?51.70 | 2010-09-01 18:33:00 Author: Rhys125 Posts: 841 |

| So if the UK gets one we can expect ireland be getting one also? Or at least I hope so!! Those Jak and Daxter costumes are epic!! | 2010-09-01 19:46:00 Author: Jordanmcc Posts: 94 |
| Phew, glad to see that we'll be getting at least some of the same stuff as the awesome looking US CE! Thanks MrV for the news | 2010-09-01 20:10:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |

| Hmm, I just saw a LBP2 priced at 80 euro's on a dutch site (it doesn't say but it has to be the Collector's Edition). If that 80 is correct, I don't think 55 pounds will be happening for you, sorry. | 2010-09-02 10:22:00 Author: Rogar Posts: 2284 |

| I don't know why people are trying to figure out the price using the exchange rate, it doesn't work for anything else in games. We're probably looking at ?70 maybe ?65 if we are very lucky based on previous pricing trends. | 2010-09-02 10:40:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |
| So it's around the $80 mark in the US and $60 for the normal priced games. So thats a 25% increase which would mean the UK CE should be ?50. Frustratingly though, Sony tend not to treat us as equals which means we always get the mucky end of the stick . I for one have learned to live with it though over many years of gaming . Good to know it's coming though. | 2010-09-02 13:32:00 Author: shindol Posts: 78 |
| If it's ?65 or ?70 i'm not buying it, Anymore than ?55 is a complete ripoff. And if it is $70 or something then the US one should be over $120 or something otherwise it wouldn't be fair | 2010-09-02 14:46:00 Author: Bluetoes1 Posts: 98 |
| Hopefully they'll announce it tomorrow at PAX? | 2010-09-02 14:58:00 Author: Jordanmcc Posts: 94 |

And if it is $70 or something then the US one should be over $120 or something otherwise it wouldn't be fair When has the gaming industry ever been 'fair' to Europe? Mainly when it comes to things like this. Chances are ?70 will be most likely, annoyingly. | 2010-09-02 14:59:00 Author: Jedi_1993 Posts: 1518 |
| Well if it is ?70 then i'm sure hardly anyone will bother buying it, as it would be cheaper to buy everything seperately. | 2010-09-02 15:13:00 Author: Bluetoes1 Posts: 98 |
| The main selling point for me was the DLC, but the plush sackboy is so awesome. | 2010-09-02 15:24:00 Author: TehUberZac Posts: 587 |
| But it's just not worth it IF it is ?70. And if it were to be ?70 then the US one should be $120 or everyone outside US are basicaly getting scammed for their money. | 2010-09-02 15:30:00 Author: Bluetoes1 Posts: 98 |

If that 80 is correct, I don't think 55 pounds will be happening for you, sorry. Out of curiosity, would this be Nedgame? Nedgame tends to be early with their listings, and generally fairly accurate with the recommended retail prices. EDIT: Instead of asking, I could have just looked. Which I just did. XD Sometimes I'm a bit stupid. So, not Nedgame. Share the magic, Rogar! Shaaaaarrrrrreeee iiiiiiitah!. | 2010-09-02 16:38:00 Author: Melfice Posts: 269 |
| Nope, Bol.com (http://www.bol.com/nl/p/games/littlebigplanet-2/1004004010498670/index.html). Edit: Just noticed they mention november 19th as the date is becomes available. | 2010-09-02 17:18:00 Author: Rogar Posts: 2284 |

Sackboy plush and game ends! thanks for the info! ?70-?80 is a bit steep, even for a collectors edition. I reckon around ?60-70 probably. I have around ?80 right now so I'm covered hopefully for when it comes out to preorder right away. | 2010-09-02 17:23:00 Author: Matimoo Posts: 1027 |

Good to know it's coming though. A 25% increase would be ?62.50. Our games mostly have a ?49.99 RRP they're only sub ?40 in all stores because online retailers have been discounting them by that much for years and the high street had had to match it to stay competitive. Collectors editions don't really get much of a discount presumambly the extra content makes the price less flexible. | 2010-09-02 21:35:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |

Easy enough It'd have to be north of ?80 for me to not buy it and even then i'd still regret not getting it. | 2010-09-04 23:27:00 Author: Asbestos101 Posts: 1114 |
| 80 US Dollars is around 51 UK Pounds 70 US Dollars is around 45 UK Pounds (Used Google) I wouldn't know what sony does there cause I'm in america and all that stuff... | 2010-09-06 00:13:00 Author: CheesyDemon Posts: 170 |
| I for one don't really mind what price it is, i've been saving up xD as long as it ain't anymore than ?100 i'll be happy. I hope they include all the DLC in the UK version, and they should add extra cause, MM is based in UK, and also the US got the QORE cap for LBP1 so its only fair | 2010-09-21 18:45:00 Author: onaga666 Posts: 293 |
| I have ?57. Excluding my bus fare and food in my lunch hour. I'll probably have ?50 I can stuff away at the end of the week - Looks like I'll just be pre-ordering the normal one instead!! I still think it's wrong that a game made in the UK by a British company goes out in America first. Don't you think? Why do we brits have to sit tight for a few days and let the Americans have all the fun while we sit twiddling our thumbs? ARGGGGGGGG Phew. Got that out of my system! Mostly... | 2010-09-21 18:55:00 Author: Weretigr Posts: 2105 |

| Guys.. You say that 60 GBP would be fair.. right? But that's around ?70,- ... Now a game in the Netherlands usually costs around 60 - 65 euros (And populair games are definitily 65 euros), so i doubt that i'll get the CE for only 5 euros more.. It would be a great win anyways..xD | 2010-09-21 20:06:00 Author: TjoxYorro Posts: 220 |
| Really bad news. I just heard that they announced on the playstation blog that UK and Europe aren't getting the plushie or the bookends in our CE. All we're getting is some DLC. Absolutely disgraceful decision by Sony. I hate them more every day. No price announced yet but it ought to be a darn sight cheaper than the US version as there's only about ?10 worth of DLC at best. If it's more than ?50 they can shove it where the sun don't shine!! | Actually, that's not what it says. It just tells us the basic package, and that each country gets their own package based on this. In other words, it's another tease. | 2010-11-12 19:34:00 Author: Rogar Posts: 2284 |
