I've just finished making my first machinima video using Little Big Planet and thought I'd share it with you guys here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5ESUPBlNWo The music is by my friend's band and the video is set in my home town of Hull, UK. I've been working on the video (on and off) for around six months, most of this time was spent building the sets. Little Big Planet perfect for making machinima as you can easily build your own environments and the characters can express a wide range of emotions. Creating the video was a lot easier than I was expecting and I'm really pleased with the end results. Any feedback will be gratefully received, and I'll be happy to answer any questions or share my techniques with other Little Big Planet creators. Hope you like it, I had a lot of fun making it.

Woah! Awesome video, really great detail on everything. Have you done any levels? You should It looked really great with that turning camera on that keyboard. Knowing how LBP cameras work that must have taken a while. The song was also very good

Excellent stuff there. I have no idea what "machinima" is, but whatever....you build amazingly detailed set designs. That boat trip along the docks was awesome.

Fantastic ! I'm not keen on machinimas in video games (probably because I'm not good at it) but this is really awesome, and very neat. Great job

I used up my quota of 20 about a month ago, so I've been spending more time on the video. I'll be posting a thread about my levels on the relevant sub-forum very soon. The rotating camera was a bit tricky, but it was worth the hassle as it produces a more cinematic effect than the standard LBP cameras. I'll tell my friends that you liked the song, they'll be very happy .
