Why must we consistently avoid spikes and sudden death in a video game? Can finding death be fun? These may sound like dumb questions, but welcome to the Karoshi Factory! Where those silly spikes are your friends.

(Based on the flash games by Jesse Venbrux)

-This is my first attempt at a recreation of one of my favorite flash game series. I tried to keep it true to the series, but of course I tweaked it to be more enjoyable in LBP. Otherwise, I wish to make the level as enjoyable as possible, so if you have any feedback, feel free to leave one. The enjoyment and playability factors of a level is what makes a great level so please help me achieve that. With that said, thankies, and have a great day :3

Okay, well, that was....very different! Anywho, time for a review!!
============================
The Good
+Very fun, interesting gameplay mechanic of killing yourself.
+ Very clever puzzles!
+ Race added interesting replayability

===================================
The Bad:
- Too Short. I would have liked to have seen more puzzles. (Unless of course, Thermo got in the way.)

This level is interesting, as it is your job (literally) to find a way to kill yourself. The premises behind the level is unique, and I liked that. The visuals were simple, but for this kind of level, simplicity is the best way to go. It was quite humorous, and made me chuckle a few times. The only issue I had, was the length. I frowned when the level ended. However, I did play through it again for the race (Made 2nd. I almost beat you =P) Overall, it's a very enjoyable level!

4 Stars and a <3!

If you can, play either of my levels, in my sig! Thanks!

Great level, no cons I could find, and I didn't notice anything glaring to fix. Good design, solid throught ewhole level. Oh you could resticker some of the red switches if you got the time, I could see green on a few...I think it was the water one. Good camera work, nice puzzels, and I think I worked for that boss at the end. Good work, if you can add more to the level, it would be cool, but sometimes it is best to let it stay short and sweet.2010-09-03 09:59:00

I really enjoyed this level. It's not 100% original - I've seen levels like it before - but this one was great fun with great presentation. The puzzles themselves were never challenging... it's just as well that there was a time trial to incorporate challenge. I'm not sure if you could cheat on any puzzles by using popit... I presume you've worked all these things out but I didn't try to. Overall I gave it :star::star::star::star::star: for a fun, well-presented level.

F4F on the levels in my sig please!

I played your level and here is my feedback:

Positives:
+Very unique level
+level was very fun
+Puzzles were nicely done
+Platforming was okay
+Music went with the level
+Gameplay was smooth

Negatives:
-Placed a sticker for speed run and nothing happened, but as I read above someone did it already so maybe it was just a bug or something

Overall the level was very good::star::star::star::star:

Thank you for all the replies and helpful feedback.
I'll be getting to all your levels as soon as I possibly can! ;]
(School / Work)

As for now, some quick updates as follows:
-Added a new stage
-Fixed sticker problems.
-Changed speech bubbles to be a bit more humorous.
-Removed obvious hints.

The Timed Gate entrance possibly did not appear due to you being directly over the gate itself
when you placed the sticker.
At the moment, I am finding a way to fix that. (Possibly by making the gate emit from above.)
However, I don't want to
run the risk of it killing the person.

A majority of the checkpoint switches are sensor switches, so you won't be able to use the Po-pit to cheat.
However, if one person activates the switch (and dies) all other players would be able to "cheat" as normal.
There is probably no way around this unless I incorporate a 'Require All Players' switch.

The puzzles themselves may not be very challenging, but I intended them not to be as to lure
off the casual player. However, you may be right that it destroys the idea of having a time trial altogether.
I am continuing to create stages to place in the game, so I'll see what I can do.
I'll be sure to make them a tad bit more challenging, but only enough to possibly warrant a time trial.
