Archive: 10 posts

It seems as if it is possible to take a photo on lbp but with a green background =O and then use an edditing program to make the green go away as they do in TV weather rapports =O does anybody here know what porgram you should use ?

Maybe not the right forum but i was unsure....

You could use any image editor with a color select. Make sure your sackboy doesn't have anything close to that color on.2010-08-31 14:40:00

If you are going to use GIMP, I suggest you use it on a Linux machine, it runs much faster and is more stable.2010-08-31 15:55:00

Paint.NET (http://www.getpaint.net/)

It's brilliant. Very easy to understand.

Btw, you are thinking of 'Chroma Keying', better known as 'Green Screening'. 2010-08-31 19:54:00

I tried it a few weeks back and it doesn't work as well as you'd hope. The jpg's that the game outputs are kinda' low quality and the colors tend to bleed into each other. I had to do a lot of post-work removing the bits of green that bled into the pics I took. Still, it's better than nothing and the post-work isn't too difficult to do; it's just not a simple drag and drop operation... but then again, I was trying to convert the images into bigger/higher quality pics, so I had more work to do anyway.2010-08-31 22:17:00

This is a lot harder than just cutting it out in my opinion, but it can help to get rid of most of the unwanted stuff, then pixel delete if needed.2010-08-31 22:34:00

I use that, very good, though there is a faint green line around my sackboy. I think I just did it wrong.
