to be honest when you use lol or rofl. are you even laughing out loud? i never am all the time but i do laugh inside lol.

The question in the poll didn't really make sense. When I lol, it's usually to show people how I am feeling, so there isn't any confusion as to how I am saying something. Often, I'm not really laughing outside or inside. That doesn't mean I haven't ever actually laughed when using it though. I remember when Darkelite gave me the link to a 'Tourette's Guy' video that I hadn't seen, and I litterally 'laughed out loud'. A bird flew at his face. lol

Nope, I just do it when someone does/says something stupid. There is a handful of times I have actually laughed pretty hard, and when that happens I just spam "LOL" about 50 times.

Due to the very fact that people DON'T mean it, and that fact that it's typically irrelevant, I refrain from using all forms of it. Instead, I make myself more precise and actually *emote* what I really do, instead. I have learned to understand what people are doing when they use them, according to their usage. But it's really just an overused thing that has completely lost its meaning, and people use just because everyone else does and they've gotten used to it, not because it actually means anything they're trying to portray.

I guess the letters LOL and ROFL are over used. I use it when ever i think something is funny.
