Sounds of......Hell?

Archive: 23 posts

I Recently discovered this on youtube but this radio host found some old recording that from what ive heard is from the 1970s and is from a siberian dig that went down a loooooong long way down to i think the end of the crust. they were recorded by scientists ,just like what i want to be when i finish college, and they were from the 1970s which kind of lowers the chance that it could have been faked, well ive been thinking about it and i cant really tell whether its real or fake so im going to put up a poll to see what you guys think, now if you dont believe in hell this may kind of change your thoughts, im not sure how to post the embed so im just going to post the link. Ive never heard anything that disturbing since the Jonas Brothers anyways here it is...

Honestly, it might have been something other than hell. Maybe some weird drilling equipment, magma, etc.

Or Inanimacy. You never know!

I was really working myself up for something scary but meh. Not scary, the quality isn't very good and as it was said the noises could be machines or anything really as it sounds like there is distortion to me. I have heard some sounds myself over the years and whether they were in my head or not I am still unsure but they were a hell of a lot worse than that.. no pun intended 2010-08-31 03:56:00

sigh this is so sad....

anyone can make this sound by sticking a ballon over a condenser microphone placing it inside a container (tin can) with water inside, then visit a public place...

trust me, I created a similar sound for my studies (minimalism)

or get a crap camera mic and walk into a busy place

I am a bit offended by going all missionary at the end, how rude just to try to turn such sound around to scare others into believing (not that it is working). For all I know the sound is real, but what makes it I can't tell. Possibility for wind, some sort of resonance, maybe even the sound of moving ground when dug deep enough. Machinery? Maybe everything combined.2010-08-31 17:32:00

FAKE, cause, like moonwire said, trying to scare others into believing.

I still don't believe in god or hell, or what ever, and I will never believe.

I Have in fact read the wiki page and I struggle to be a believer when the word hoex lies in the title (100% a fake trust me), theres no proof that this drilling ever even took place.2010-08-31 18:47:00

First of all its in siberia and its in the 70s, of course there isnt going to be a record. 2nd of all the guy who made the screen comments in the video was over religios so......whatever. 3rd of all, the dig was in the ocean so any drilling sounds or baloons would be muffled, which MAY have created the screaming sounds. wind isnt possible, again.......ocean.2010-08-31 23:22:00

Surprised this thread hasn't been locked yet given the pseudo-religious nature of it. But anyway, I'm gonna lean with the majority and say it's probably a hoax. I don't know what the sounds are in reality but the idea that they are the sounds of hell has zero credibility given that we only have word of mouth of the guy speaking in the video without any other concrete evidence. There is absolutely nothing in the video to back up his claims; the sounds, while bizarre, tell us nothing about their actual nature (much less if they are from Hell, in which case we have nothing substantial to compare them to) nor does anthing prove they were recorded from some unknown drilling operation in some remote place in the world were said operation could be plausibly denied anyway.2010-09-01 01:39:00
