I don't know how old this is, but I just saw it last night when watching fringe... I must say its quite epic 7DH49WgTEOQ "It is then that all swords of man must strike as one!!!!! We must Rise...Stand....RESIST" I've got the fanboy shivers just from watching it.

Insomniac started Resistance way before whatever lumberjack association started Gears of Whack. Nobody beats me in anyways that involve making me look inferior, and that's a fact. The only thing you beat is your own face, TWICE. You didn't compare Resistance to God of War at all.

Note: Clank has a point Resistance was announced way before Gears of War...(I think it was announced the same time the PS3 was announced, which was only a few months after 360...and Gears was announced about a year after 360) probably went gold earlier too, but wasn't released since its suppose to be a launched title for the PS3 and in a totally different note: Gears didn't take from Resistance Russian mutants that turned out to be aliens doesn't mean Mole people pisst off at the human race for littering...

To PS3 fanboys and 360 fanboys alike; Gears and Resistance are in no way, shape, or form alike. One is set in the future on another planet. The other is set in the past on our planet. Gears enemies are underground dwelling aliens who want to take over the world and exterminate the human race. Resistances enemies are aliens trying to take over the world and spread their virus, but they look completely different from, the Locust. Neither stole from either, neither has completely original enemies. The premise of Resistance is great and the story telling in Gears is great. They are both great in their own rights so stop being fanboys and stop lying. BTW- Thought the commercial was a little too cheesy, but I liked it. ALSO why were you watching fringe? It's just terrible.

Resistance is a first person shooter. Gears is a 3rd person shooter. Comparing the both is like comparing apples to oranges. Halo/Resistance and Uncharted/Gears are better comparisons. Anyway, I'm really liking what they are doing with the 'Only On Playstation' splash screens for each game. The giant colossus type figure in the background is mad cool.
