I'm English. American sports are a mystery to me. They confuse and scare me. But i've started paying attention to NHL, because it's awesome. Ok i don't understand a lot of it, the inability to actually 'buy' players baffled me. but i'm beginning to get to grips with things... I know some people here must watch it as we have a lot of Americans and Canadians, some of you must be interested... So who'd you support? Favorite players? Personally, i like the LA Kings, mainly because when i've been to America it's always to LA, and i know a lot of people there, so i can follow them and when i end up in LA again i can go watch them Anyway, discuss...

Where I live NHL is a big deal, most played sport, most watched etc. It is unfortunate for me because I dont like it.

Id like to say Canada bet USA in Hockey in the Olympic Games . Half of Canada's team for the olympic games Live in the USA And the guy that scored the winning goal was from the blackhawks i believe. Anyway yeah i live in Chicago... Blackhawks won Booyah!

Oh hello. I don't really follow NHL because they don't show it here in Finland... and that sucks. I like ice hockey in general, though. Well okay, they showed the finals between Philadelphia and Chicago! Yay! I actually like Calgary Flames the most... I liked them as a kid because of their logo and it's a good team anyway. My brother is playing NHL 09 on the PS3 right now... lol Oh btw, maybe the thread title could be "ice hockey"

I'm probably gonna watch it... Interesting thing is, they play in Finland! If it wouldn't have been so expensive I would probably be in Helsinki in Hartwall Arena right now... that would be awesome. EDIT: Gonna go to the TV now, I'll post between the periods EDIT2: Since there are no posts after me, I have to edit... Pretty interesting game so far, I didn't really see too much because I had to eat during the game, lol. But I saw both goals, really interesting.
