Every creator has the right to hold the highscore on thier level, as I have tried for the last four months to hold on to the one on glitch land and tutorial. I recently re-downloaded the level as my profile corrupted to find my highscore on the list. Get this, the total points in GLitch Land and Tutorial is around 2700 Here is the league of Highscores in my Level # 1 WretchedTooth 2139095... #2 upers4mil 8214 #3 caid2001 7730 #4 johnwhewell 6695 #5 MMC2102MIKE 4211 #6 J_piggy55 3084 #7 SuperIan18 3023 #8 fearlessep 2910 #9 ace_of_PWN 2863 #10 abbas1000 2830 Obviously, all of them are cheaters, which does not allow the real players to have a chance to compete! This also happens in story mode and I find I have no motivation to do well in those levels! Does anyone else have these problems with thier levels, does anyone feel that SCEE and Cambridge should do something about it? Sorry to rant! I'm just a tad annoyed :/ --SMD

WretchedTooth has like 10 million points on pretty much all of my levels. No really, like a 1 with 10 zeroes after it... I can't be bothered to count. There are no (unlimited) bubble or brain emitters anywhere in my levels so this is clearly a hack. Yes, it's annoying, but I don't think it's a big deal. Just ignore the score and go from there. It's not like they get something special for being #1 by means of a hack. Actually... they do get something. They advertise to the entire LBP PSP community that they are idiots, and they receive my unbiased pity for their low brain cell counts.

I HATE CHEATERS when i first played the demo it was all about getting a higher score than my brother on the Wave Goodbye and the Gift Of Grab levels, and it was fun but when i conected to the internet on the real game for the first time it was already flooded with hackers, mostly dom569476934659 (somthing like that) the hackers should be put in a hall of shame . but if it wasn't for hackers peton-is-bloody whould get all the high scores he's realy good at high scores (unless he has been a hacker this hole time).

Yeah, I never try to get the high score on my levels. I think it is obvious that who ever created the level could get the high score easily..... I mean, they made it, and if they are like me, play tested the thing over and over for the entire process. I won't go as far as saying it is wrong for the creator to get the high score, but I think it is more classy to let another person have their name on top the scoreboard. When I see guy's like Xenon and TheNerd going back and forth for the top spot on one of my levels, that makes my day.

I dont even download my level's and if i do i dont stand on the scoreboard. but i probably should have because rocks and gems only lags when you download it .

there is only one way to find out have a level called the ultimate score level and have only 1 scorebubble and look for high scores over ten points then they are cheating

As for Peton_Is_Bloody, I have to clap for him. He makes it on my highscore list all the time. Only if he comes on LBPC. Or has he? Edit: By the way, I just wanted to add that people don't have to hack to have an impossible score. There is a glitch where your score changes. Remember Lleonard first place on Jeffcu28's "Zen" level? Obviously it's impossible to beat anyone. You have to tie up. Though, looks like Lleonard had a glitch and beat the scores. (By the way, I'm not entirely sure if it was "Zen".... I may be wrong....)

He's on all of my levels high scores, so he still plays lbp maybe i should invite him to LBPC with a level called Peton-is-bloody? that would be funny. he would find it because i have levels on highest rated first page and featured levels and im featured creator. and i cant remember if he has any levels ill have to check again later.

It feels wrong to get a highscore on my own level. All I can say is that I hate High Score Hackers. They have no skill and no rights to be on any scoreboard! Peton, Peton, Peton. I have a feeling he is a member of LBPC or just a non-member afraid to show his face to me! He can also be.....one of us!! Just Kidding

Ugh, people hacking high scores really annoys me. I put loads of effort into hiding bubbles and if someone came in and got a billion with no effort I would be so mad. I have got to admit though, I did put a high score on my level, but because its mainly exploration and I wanted people to have some idea of an aim. But it is still beatable (dang that conscience!) for you highscoranions out there But don't you think the whole hacking thing is kind of pointless? Why get a insane highscore which everyone knows its impossible? All you would get out of it is a load of hate.

I totally agree! I do put high scores on my own level and I don't see why I shouldn't. Usually I put in a score just to show people a good score and it encourages people to do well and try and beat the score.

Does anyone else have these problems with thier levels, does anyone feel that SCEE and Cambridge should do something about it? I never have problems with this, luckily. I think SCEE and Cambridge should fix the bubble combo glitch, because anybody can do it really. I just want to clarify that even though I discovered it here on lbpc, I will never ever use it on a level. Even though I know the "morals" of lbp, I'm glad you guys told me to delete the instructions because I would of created a lot of cheaters right then and there. Anyways, enough said from me. I hate cheaters. Let real lbp players unite! It feels wrong to get a highscore on my own level. I highly disagree with this. I believe creators should defend the highscore of their own levels. Haha^ I think creators should have highscores on their own levels, because it sort of sets the bar for everyone else. It makes you feel all cool when you beat a creator's highscore. The cheaters are kind of annoying, but that is pretty much a given in most games. Just look at MW2 for an example of totally trashed leaderboards due to cheating. It would be nice to see what the real highscores on the story levels are.

Actually most of wretchedtooth's scores scores start with 21. Useless info but still mentioned. As for me I don't think it's fair for the level maker to have the high score cause they obviously know where all the score bubbles are so they could easily win. I'd only download my levels (when I make one that is) just to test them.
