I'll help you if you tell me what kind of level you're building and what type of intro you want! | 2010-08-30 09:31:00 Author: Weretigr ![]() Posts: 2105 |
Usually a good introduction would be trying a cutscene maybe with various different magic mouths with the cutscene option on or maybe a "<YOUR PSN> Presents" & then the name of your level on a on the rails section such as being in a vehicle that moves automatically while you look at the scene | 2010-08-30 17:14:00 Author: basketball27 ![]() Posts: 54 |
It would help us if you told us what you had in mind.If you're stumped on deciding what to make you can think to yourself "what do people find entertaining?" or you could also take a couple of simple ideas combine it and...umm..then do whatever you feel like doing next. | 2010-08-30 23:15:00 Author: domoqueen ![]() Posts: 170 |
First that nothing you must centre your idea in ... of that it treats your level, having this response you can begin with the design of the letters for your introduction, bearing in mind that already you have well-considered the name of your level, movements of chamber, lights that give life to your design, events i refer to this to that maybe you put a door with a little box that moves little by little with Sack inside to be able like that to read all your message, there are many options it if you do not forget to be put whom i make it eeh. I hope that these small advices use you as something ![]() | 2010-08-31 01:30:00 Author: psyntens ![]() Posts: 562 |
make sure u choose a font that doesn't use too many corners, have a look at my 'MM music pack 1 tutorial' level. it has a simple, but effective example of an introduction. it's just a one way elevator moving downwards behind a wall of thick layer (middle layer). the words are thin layer, stuck to the face of that wall. the text is illuminated by large LED lights on either side ( in the front layer, & off camera). don't put text in the front layers, as that can cause issues with lighting & stickers. | 2010-09-03 08:36:00 Author: sellfcon ![]() Posts: 79 |
