| Alright so i was just thinking, that everyone is so into Murder Mysteries, that we should hold one on LBPC! so how this works is everyone who wants to join will play their own character, using their own alias. tThere are three types of people, Theres the murderer, the detectives, and just the regular people, also organizers, but they just help me, and cannot guess the murderer, these people will help me come up with clues, events, things like that. there will be 3 murders per round, and 15 players per round, I will state the end of the round, and the detectives must try to guess who did it, YOU CAN NOT GUESS BEFORE THE END OF THE ROUND, i can't stress that enough. I do however promote people being deceiving during the period of everone just mingling. So, do whatever you want, post what your doing to prepare for the murderer, that kind of stuff, i will start us off with the first post, and we'll go on from there with the joining and such. A cold breeze flew by Mercuy as he entered his house in LBPC, he quickly flopped down onto the couch, picking up his laptop and logging on to LBPC. The top of the screen flickered 1 new notification, he oppened it, thinking it would be someone else saying his avatar is cool, but instead a message, from an unknown user, It read, "Attention LBPC community, I am tired of your constant love for LBP, and your denying of H4H and shark survivals, I will murder everyone of you, 1 by one, and not stop until You convince Confused Cartman to close the site, or get all members to promote H4H, You have 1 day, before the first of you dies. Have a nice day." "Acgh, H4H scum!" thought Mercuy. He did not believe what he was reading, surely it was a prank, a poor noob trying to get the create trophy. Mercuy then turned on his PS3, and created a new message to some of his friends, "Hey guys, your never going to believe the message i just got" Rules: 1: dont expose the murderer, even if you dont know its them for sure. 2: no murder scenes without my permission 3: no stating new clues, and no snitchy acts, like saying you knew the murderer, or doing something that would mean you are the murderer 4: keep it clean! Hmm, reminds me of mafia. I'd be happy to be an organizer and to keep it a secret unless I was confused by what you said, you should get enough people to join then you pm them what they are and if they give it away then acch! they're out. | Alright, i dint realize this would take off so quickly, lemme just update the list, and to those of you who are confused, all you do while waiting for a murder is like, just post anything about it, kind of like the console wars, i will post a few example posts for those of you who are still confused. Example one: In this, ill just be playing one of my PS3 Friends. As Redstar turned on his PS3, he noticed a message in his inbox, from mercuy, he opened the message, expecting something about his comment, or a level, instead he was suprised by the fact that it was neither, instead it read "your never going to believe the message i got, some dumb H4Her is trying to threaten LBPC to shut down, or to support H4H, by saying hes going to kill everyone. its actually kinda funny, i feel sorry for the guy" Redstar pressed on the reply and button and typed in "Feel sorry? he deserves the YLOD, seriously, if he thought he was going to get away with it, hes got another thing coming." he pressed the send button and started up LBP, feeling a slight bit of anxiety, and worry in the bottom of his stomach. | I think what's confusing people is not the story but wat we do. I mean if people say "I call murderer" that gives it away if it's gonna be like I think it is. | I don't know how this will work if you don't know the murderer, the way I think you should do this is have everyone sign up. When you have the desired amount of people, you close applications or sign ups and Private Message everyone their role. That way no one knows who the murderer is and makes it much more fun/challenging. Don't think you will be able to protect your "friends"... I will find you first! GDN then checks the profile of who sent the message, but he gets a message saying "Page Not Found". Thanks, Gamer" Mercuy clicked the reply button and typed, Gamerman, I know that this is a bizarre case, nothing like this has ever happened before, ive been trying to contact the mods so that they can do something about it, but until then, sit tight, im sure it's just a prank of some kind, but make sure you have security measures, we dont know what to expect." Mercuy clicked the send button, and then checked the second, his heart almost stopped as he started to read, it said: Dear Mercuy77 I can see that nothing has been done about this site, or H4H, therefore you have left me no alternative, I have your beloved mod comphermc sitting right next to me, if the site is not closed in 2 hours, he dies, good day. "Then that's what we need to do," Gdn started to say, "We need to head to comph's house." Rtm told Gamer and gdn where comph's house was. They headed off. When Gamer and gdn were in front of the house, a blood-curling scream was heard. Gamer and gdn looked at each other and knew what to do. Gdn grabbed the paintinator from his belt, and Gamer put on his electricity glove. They burst down the door to see a body on the ground. Gamer rushed to the body and felt around the neck area. "No Pulse," he firmly stated. They looked at the body, but they couldn't identify it. "Hey," Gdn said, "Do you think we should call for back-up authorities?" "I guess so, I mean, we are detectives, and part of the police force," Gamer said, "but we need to notify the actual police and get an ambulance here. Maybe we can get a blood sample to send to the lab and get an ID on our victim here." "I agree," Gdn said. Gamer took out a swab and took a sample of blood. | Sorry havent posted here even though I signed up so here. GDN had to open it so he did. It was the H4Her. H4Her: "I see you and your friends chose not to do what I asked, so the game begins. Giving me hearts and all won't do any good now. I did not kill comphermc, but one of my people did. Think, gamerman, rtm and you did not kill comphermc because you were'nt in the house yet. That leaves dragon, bear, mercury and assassinator. Find who's the killer and stop this or I'm going to get RTM223 killed. What did it said? GDN was about to tell gamer, but then a black car passed in front of him and he turned to avoid the collision, but the car rolled over and crashed into a wall. He then crawled out of the car, luckly he was in one piece, but he still needed to go to RTM's house. He took a taxi then. Gamer: Strange, GDN wouldn't hang up like that... It looks like this person was intentionally crashing. But why was it assassinator's car. The car kept going just like before. It missed GDN so it got gamer... GDN: He also said how he didn't kill comphermc, someone else did. He said it was either dragonvarsity, Bear, assassinator or mercury. GDN: Agrred Gamer: Agreed GDN: One other thing though, that black car, I swore it looked just like assassinator's. I don't know if he did it, but that might help us. HELP!!!!!!!!! Gamer: So it wasn't assassinator, I think. We gotta save assassinator! But who are the people in the masks????????????? One of them has to be bear dragon or mercury..... or someone else if the H4Her is lying. I'm going to my home to check it out. RTM drove away, and GDN and Gamer took a taxi. Gamer: But one thing I don't understand is... If the H4Her said that the next target will be RTM, why he kidnapped assassinator? GDN then said: GDN: To create a diversion... DRIVER CHANGE OF PLANS! | Um... k... Yeah, I'll have to side with Whaaale for this... The random role palying everyone is doing is just messing up the game. If they want to roleplay, they should make another one instead of clogging up this thread. At any rate, you also need to further determine the "rules" of the game so it actually makes sense. There are a few ways I think you could do this, but here's my idea... Get a full list of players. Assign each of them qualities that limit what they can/can't say. For example, the butler could know the location of the Gardener at the time of the murder. Every person would have a list of these traits, and would have to narrow it down... the question is how... Uh... um... But yeah... I would like a murder mystery game, but it would have to be smartly put together to include a bunch of puzzles and stuff, cause if it's just this role playing that's clogging up the thread at the moment, then you might want to change the title >_> | 2010-09-02 17:39:00 Author: RockSauron  Posts: 10882 |

I guess it's to get some LBPC people and try making a fun little murderer story and I hope it keeps going like this because I have an awesome idea of what's next. GDN and Gamer runs to RTM's house only to find him dead. They find another note. H4Her's note First I killed comphermc then RTM223. Now for 3 more things. I've played a bomb near one of your friends. Use this bomb scanner I've given and find out who it is. But be quick or they'll die and maybe many others too. Sincerely, H4Her GDN and Gamer look around town on the bomb scanner. They see that the bomb's at the java coffee place next to the bridge. They call LWBear and they get no respone. Gamer: Strange... They call Mercury and he tells him he's at his home playing Starcraft 2. They call dragonvarsity to find out he's there. GDN: DRAGON YOU HAVE TO GET OUT OF THERE!!!! Dragonvarsiy: *stands up, worried* Why? What's wrong? Gamer: There's a bomb in that building, we found out by this bomb scanner, you have to get out of there now. Dragonvarsity: Okay, but what about everyone else? GDN: We don't have time just get out!!!!! Dragonvarsity: *Gets out of building and starts car* Gamer puts hand over phone to talk to GDN. Gamer: Wait, look at the scanner. See the little green person, that's dragon. It's like, the bomb's following him.......Oh god. GDN: What? Gamer: The bomb's in his watch!!!!!!!!!!!!11 *takes hand off phone quickly* GDN and Gamer: DRAGON TAKE IT OFF, TAKE OFF THE WATCH NOW!!!!!!!!!11 Drgonvarsity: Tries taking off watch but it's too late. "really? well do you know whats going on with this whole murder story?" "nah, sorry i got nothing, all i know is that comph and rtm are dead." "comph and rtm? you kidding right?" "No, sorry, and gdn, is in the hospital, says he was in a car accident." "ugh... I gotta go" "Bye." Mercuy called the taxi service and it came right to his house. "well, this means the murderer is smarter than we thought, must be trying too turn us against each other" stated gdn "also on the way over the... never mind." "what, what is it mercuy?" "the taxi driver knew that I was going to the hospital" "did you see what he looked like?" | Gamer was about to pick up his PDA, to call a taxi, when a man, in a black cloak, runs past them out the door of the hospital. A person screams: "HELP! That man just stole my wallet!" he yelled. Gamer reacted quickly and ran after the man. The man ran through an alley near the west side of the hospital. Gamer ran through to find a dead end and no one there. Now how could he just disappear from the alley without me seeing him? he thought to himself. He walked to the end of the alley cautiously. There was a brick on the ground and a hole in the wall where it would fit. It had seemed that it had fallen out of the wall, so Gamer picked it up and slowly pushed it in. The ground began to vibrate, revealing an exit. He saw the man and quickly ran after him, tackling him to the ground. "Give it back!" Gamer shouted. "Never!" the man shouted. Gamer took out his electricity glove, and felt electricity flowing through him. He aimed his hand at the wall, and shot a bolt at the wall. "Give..it...back," Gamer said slowly, but angerly. "H-h-h-ere! T-take it. Just don't hurt me!" the man said cowardly. Gamer took it and left the man on the ground. He took off his glove just as Mercury and gdn caught up with him. "Hey, what happened? I felt the ground shaking, and we couldn't find you," Mercury said. "Nothing," Gamer said in a frustrated voice, tossing the wallet to Mercury. The man ran out of the alley in fear and tripped and fell, his hood falling off revealing his face. Mercury look back and took a good look. | Gamer, having calmed down at that point, took off his electricity glove. "What is that?" Mercury asked. "Oh.. nothing, just a glove I like to wear a lot. It gives me luck," he said. "Is that how you got the wallet?" Mercury asked curiously. "Yeah. It was real easy, all I had to do is put my glove on, and then I approached him, and he just dropped the wallet," Gamer said. "I'm going back home to rest for tomorrow. Something tells me its gonna be a long day." "Yeah. See you tomorrow," Gdn said. Immediately after Gamer was out of earshot, Gdn turned to look at Mercury. "What was that glove really?" he said. "I'm not sure, but I doubt anyone can approach a thief and scare them half to death. There's more to this glove than we know," Mercury replied. "Well, I'm going home also. See you later," Gdn said. Mercury continued to his house when he saw a silhouette in the night, running from his house. He quickly ran to his house to see the door wide open. He found a note inside, and read it. After he read it, he looked around the house to see what was missing. "Hmm, nothing is missing," he stated. He turned on his computer and opened up LittleBigBrowser to go to LBPC, but the browser immediately crashed upon opening. "Huh?" Mercury said questionably. All of a sudden the computer displayed a message saying, Computer will self-destruct in ten seconds "Oh no," Mercury said [9] He ran out of the house, but the door was locked [7] He quickly ran to the back door, but it was locked as well. | Mercury walks into Gamer's house and sees him messing with the computer. "What'cha doing?" Mercury asked. Gamer looked up, but bumped his head on the desk. "Ow!" he explained. "Oh, nothing, just seeing if there was something wrong with my computer, because it was lagging a bit," he said, taking off his glove. As he took of his glove, Mercury saw a spark on Gamer's hand. He wondered why there was a spark, but didn't feel like asking. "Well, the couch is over there, and the bathroom is down the hall and to the left," Gamer started saying, "If you need me, my room is down the hall, to the right, then make a couple of lefts or something." Mercury was bewildered at the sound of Gamer giving him directions. "I think I'll figure it out," he said, laughing. Gamer laughed and said, "Well, I'm going to bed. Good Night." "See you in the morning," Mercury said. As Gamer left the room, Mercury inched towards the desk. When Mercury head a door far away close, he grabbed the glove, but was immediately shocked. "OW!" he screamed softly. He thought it was just a static electricity shock, so he grabbed the glove again with his whole hand, but was shocked again. "What is that!?" he said. "Moderator is found dead at his own home" He checked the article, but there was no useful info. | Bear asked for a bump, so... Bear tells GDN that she saw a black car following her. "Wait, that was the car that we saw earlier". GDN asked what the car looked like, but she didn't pay attention to the details. "Ok". She asks GDN about the explosion at mercuy's house, he says that already got informed about it. Then they take their ways. GDN gets to mercuy's house and starts to check the ruins for clues, but then police arrives to the scene and shouts: "COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP!!!" "Crap" thought GDN. "Why did I came here?" He manages to escape to an alleyway, but the cops see him. He takes an elevator to a rooftop and starts running and jumping from rooftop to rooftop until he loses the cops. The man that gdn saw ran passed dragonvarsity, shoving him onto the concrete. dragonvarsity sees the police down the street, and chases him into a dark alley way. I pass by the same alley and hear a scream. When I reach the its dead end, I see a body lying against a trash can. I gasp when I realize it is dragonvarsity.
