hello my son has recently bought little big planet but he has trouble making levels there are two boxes on the level builder which are blacked / not able to be pressed please may someone help him many thanks

Hello there Munnsy I'm not entirely sure what the problem is but can I ask, are these black boxes pieces of material that your son placed down?
