Anyone who has managed to get their hands on LittleBigPlanet early will now be able to download patch v1.01. The offensive song in the game however still remains but it is being assumed that they have cut out the offensive lyrics. http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=32943

Fantastic news. I can't get onto the website from here, does it say if the server have been opened yet? I presume it must be in some capacity in order for the update to be installed, but what about proper online capability?

Online is still down until Monday (the 27th), I think. I'm just glad the song did not get removed; I was worried about that...

It's a good song. I think I've said before, it fit the level well, so it's good it didn't completely get cut. Shame the online is not up yet, but understandable.

Logically speaking, the servers should be up on the 27th, since that's the US release. There's no real reason why it shouldn't be that day.

Don't know if you've seen this already http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2008/10/22/lbp-gets-patched/ LittleBigPlanet has seen it's first patch this morning for anyone with the game already (or at least the European version) taking the game to version 1.01. Interestingly, it appears the song in question is still there, we?re assuming they?ve removed, censored or looped around the troublesome content, though. Hope thats true because the song itself is really suited for the level

Oh that's good to see, well at least there making sure that even if people do have the *bad* cds they can update and get rid. Well, the BD's themselves don't get updated; the content installed on your PS3 does.

Maybe it's something that downloaded in the background, or maybe it'll be released when the servers are up... OR maybe that was just a patch for another region. Seeing this in a lot of places, though, so I'm sure the patch is real.

i think there should of been a option left to the people if you had internet connection to your ps3 you could of gotten the copy now and downloaded the patch. Well congrats you lucky people who are enjoying this game while i am doing math grrr

The game's music will be patched in a second update, which is due for a "later date".
