Sackbot Gameplay
Archive: 61 posts
I think this is a new video. If it isn't sorry Anyway its German (for Germans that is no problem :,) it is pretty wobbly and isnt the clearest sound but it hasn't been seen before. A level from the new life factory chapter. Shows us some suction tube and sackbot gameplay. Enjoy : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNBjRoa0Uoc&translated=1 | 2010-08-28 21:34:00 Author: Alternative_sack Posts: 409 |

I can't decide which is worse: the second player or the camera man. Holy hell. | 2010-08-28 21:43:00 Author: comphermc Posts: 5338 |
I can't decide which is worse: the second player or the camera man. Holy hell. mah!!! well at least its actually possible to see lol | 2010-08-28 21:47:00 Author: Alternative_sack Posts: 409 |
I've seen pieces of this level before, but never it all in one. Nice. Also, did the cameraman start to roll around when the level finished? | 2010-08-28 21:48:00 Author: Kog Posts: 2358 |
The level and the Sackbots look pretty cool. The faces in the background kinda creep me out though... | 2010-08-28 21:56:00 Author: UpintheDC Posts: 20 |
Looks a lot cooler than I thought. I always thought that the Neon Propoganda theme seemed a little more dull than the others. | 2010-08-28 22:07:00 Author: Sack-Jake Posts: 1153 |
this was really awsome!!!!!!!!!!! | 2010-08-28 22:09:00 Author: vezonfan01 Posts: 293 |

I can't decide which is worse: the second player or the camera man. Holy hell. lol i was thinking the same thing! | 2010-08-28 22:16:00 Author: gili450 Posts: 70 |
Actually, this was posted here (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=32768-LBP-2-at-Gamescom-Story-Trailer-and-Pictures&p=585208&viewfull=1#post585208) about a week ago. If it weren't for the fact that it was LBP2, this video would be otherwise unwatchable. It's a good view of the level, though. | 2010-08-28 22:22:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |

Pretty cool ^_^ Neon Propaganda was always set to be my favourite theme - now I have a video to justify it! Yes, I'm used to bad camera work, but the second player was just... Well I'm all against elitism but that was just... Ugh... | 2010-08-28 22:54:00 Author: Keanster96 Posts: 1436 |
If it weren't for the fact that it was LBP2, this video would be otherwise unwatchable. That would be like saying "If it weren't for the cat, this cat video would be rubbish" Or something like that XD | 2010-08-28 23:12:00 Author: Weretigr Posts: 2105 |
Thanks alot. Good video However the second player doesn't really deserve to play LBP2 before everyone else. I can't see how it's possible to be that terrible. He failed at every section of the level. Many other people deserve to play it than that person. | 2010-08-28 23:16:00 Author: Bluetoes1 Posts: 98 |
Go to 00:43 it's hilarious!! | 2010-08-29 00:14:00 Author: Alternative_sack Posts: 409 |
I can't decide which is worse: the second player or the camera man. Holy hell. The second player is probably ALSO the camera man. | 2010-08-29 04:33:00 Author: Tyler Posts: 663 |
As much as this is a great new video.. the shaky camera made me dizzy before I could watch it all.. | 2010-08-29 05:04:00 Author: Mr Nive Posts: 137 |
Go to 00:43 it's hilarious!! Is it when the guy yells? | 2010-08-29 10:09:00 Author: Eronninja13 Posts: 637 |
I liked that bit where they moved the switches to rock! I bet that second player couldn't even beat the Introduction level. ._. What a noob. | 2010-08-29 14:38:00 Author: midnight_heist Posts: 2513 |
When player 1 went off-screen, there was no countdown.. Or maybe he WAS on-screen, but the horrible cameraman didn't catch it. | 2010-08-29 14:44:00 Author: edster962 Posts: 170 |
sackboy's face is on the bounce pads OMG | 2010-08-29 14:52:00 Author: Unknown User |
Argh. Player 2 was such a noob... That camerawork... *pukes* Well, at least it's LBP2! | 2010-08-29 15:27:00 Author: Richasackboy Posts: 619 |
The second player is probably ALSO the camera man. I was thinking the same. there is no way someone could be that bad. | 2010-08-29 15:55:00 Author: Serpent541 Posts: 83 |

Eh, nice showcase of the new visual affects too.. I.e the little bit with the fire | 2010-08-29 17:03:00 Author: Maxi Posts: 1176 |
On a side note: has Mm changed the look of Timer logic objects? It used to be that shape of an hourglass, a rectangle is plain boring... I'm not going to say anything about the players. | 2010-08-29 18:48:00 Author: Unknown User |
@coasterfreak1235: Well, it doesn't really make a difference, most people won't even make it visible in their levels. It'll just be hidden away in a chip. | 2010-08-29 19:26:00 Author: Sack-Jake Posts: 1153 |
But still, why to change a wholly good look? | 2010-08-29 19:32:00 Author: Unknown User |
Loved the gameplay. Dynamic camera angles FTL. It's like a monkey is holding it. | 2010-08-29 19:42:00 Author: siberian_ninja15 Posts: 444 |
Loved the gameplay. Dynamic camera angles FTL. It's like a monkey is holding it. Even a monkey can play LBP2! Almost. | 2010-08-30 00:08:00 Author: Cheezy WEAPON Posts: 283 |
Nice! The camera man was fusterating though. DX | 2010-08-30 02:23:00 Author: AbstractSam Posts: 332 |

I just hope we can still see the timer working while debugging our logic. I''m pretty sure that they just replaced it with holographics. | 2010-08-30 04:24:00 Author: Moony Posts: 368 |
I just hope we can still see the timer working while debugging our logic. That is not a timer switch. That is a light blue holographic bar moving. | 2010-08-30 04:56:00 Author: Tyler Posts: 663 |
That is not a timer switch. That is a light blue holographic bar moving. You guys don't understand! Look at geruvah22's video part 2 making a ufo, the timer switch/logic component. | 2010-08-30 05:07:00 Author: Fishrock123 Posts: 1578 |
You guys don't understand! Look at geruvah22's video part 2 making a ufo, the timer switch/logic component.Yes, I know what a timer switch is and how it works and looks, but there are none present in the video that this thread is based off of, although there is a similar square hand-made object that emulates what they do. | 2010-08-30 05:24:00 Author: Tyler Posts: 663 |

As far as I know, we have not seen the newest renders (atleast not in action) of the timer..... | 2010-08-30 05:27:00 Author: Fishrock123 Posts: 1578 |
As far as I know, we have not seen the newest renders (atleast not in action) of the timer.....The beginning of this stage has been shown before (quite a long time ago) and those square countdown blocks were there. | 2010-08-30 05:35:00 Author: Tyler Posts: 663 |

That was a great video! THX just what I needed! Since I have learned germany in school it still wasn't very simple but I still understood that they were like: 'That's so cool' during the whole video. Danke! Thank you very, very much! | 2010-08-30 06:08:00 Author: FreeAim Posts: 2462 |
It's really not fair. How come everyone who gets to play the game early absolutely sucks at the game and has obviously never played LBP1? Is it just me, or does this seem to be common in all of these "home made" videos. | 2010-08-30 06:49:00 Author: dr_murk Posts: 239 |

Here's a half for the camera man: if you started, say, kickboxing, would you like that the pr0s would come and herd you off because you're not experienced in it? He did do a rather good job at failing utterly in the level though. | 2010-08-30 13:29:00 Author: Unknown User |

Divide infinite. | 2010-08-31 06:05:00 Author: Unknown User |
I just thought of something. When LBP2 comes out, will everyone stop making their own characters and resort to just using sackbots? I kinda like seeing made-up characters still with the use of the corner editor tool. | 2010-08-31 16:18:00 Author: siberian_ninja15 Posts: 444 |
nice find and thier going to be more sackbots then then sackboys/girls | 2010-08-31 17:29:00 Author: the troll Posts: 118 |
I can't decide which is worse: the second player or the camera man. Holy hell. Hey! That was me! I was holding the controller with 1 hand, the camera with the other! D: | 2010-09-01 03:50:00 Author: VeRsioNs_Z Posts: 341 |
i guessed the cam man had to hold his cam up somehow... I tried playing Skate to Victory with one hand... | 2010-09-02 11:52:00 Author: Unknown User |
Ha ha! Playing LBP with one hand is a good challenge. Strong suggestion for a thing to do when bored xD | 2010-09-02 12:23:00 Author: olit123 Posts: 1341 |
Ha ha! Playing LBP with one hand is a good challenge. Strong suggestion for a thing to do when bored xD Or when you are trying to pass a 2 player part to collect more prize bubbles with a controller in each hand | 2010-09-02 23:23:00 Author: gili450 Posts: 70 |
Nice find, I think this or SteamCake is my favorite new theme, and I litteraly loled at the camera person's ability to stand still. | 2010-09-03 23:09:00 Author: X-FROGBOY-X Posts: 1800 |

Suction Tubes anyone thinking of futurama? Im totally making a level of it. | 2010-09-08 22:44:00 Author: Unknown User |
Yeah, that's definitely the timer switch. They changed all the switches to have more simple, mainstream designs. | 2010-09-09 01:04:00 Author: Sack-Jake Posts: 1153 |
LOL The camera work in this video needs to classified under the catagory of: http://www.lostrepublic.us/Graphics/DoubleFacePalm.jpg Gah! Big picture! Sorry guys!
