Sackbot Gameplay

Archive: 61 posts

I think this is a new video. If it isn't sorry
Anyway its German (for Germans that is no problem :,)
it is pretty wobbly
and isnt the clearest sound
but it hasn't been seen before. A level from the new life factory chapter. Shows us some suction tube and sackbot gameplay.
Enjoy :

I've seen pieces of this level before, but never it all in one. Nice.

Also, did the cameraman start to roll around when the level finished?

Looks a lot cooler than I thought. I always thought that the Neon Propoganda theme seemed a little more dull than the others.2010-08-28 22:07:00

Actually, this was posted here (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=32768-LBP-2-at-Gamescom-Story-Trailer-and-Pictures&p=585208&viewfull=1#post585208) about a week ago. If it weren't for the fact that it was LBP2, this video would be otherwise unwatchable. It's a good view of the level, though.2010-08-28 22:22:00

Pretty cool ^_^

Neon Propaganda was always set to be my favourite theme - now I have a video to justify it! Yes, I'm used to bad camera work, but the second player was just... Well I'm all against elitism but that was just... Ugh...

That would be like saying "If it weren't for the cat, this cat video would be rubbish" Or something like that XD

Thanks alot. Good video

However the second player doesn't really deserve to play LBP2 before everyone else. I can't see how it's possible to be that terrible. He failed at every section of the level. Many other people deserve to play it than that person.

I liked that bit where they moved the switches to rock!

I bet that second player couldn't even beat the Introduction level. ._. What a noob.

When player 1 went off-screen, there was no countdown..
Or maybe he WAS on-screen, but the horrible cameraman didn't catch it.

On a side note: has Mm changed the look of Timer logic objects? It used to be that shape of an hourglass, a rectangle is plain boring...

I'm not going to say anything about the players.

@coasterfreak1235: Well, it doesn't really make a difference, most people won't even make it visible in their levels. It'll just be hidden away in a chip.2010-08-29 19:26:00

Loved the gameplay.
Dynamic camera angles FTL. It's like a monkey is holding it.

I just hope we can still see the timer working while debugging our logic.

That is not a timer switch. That is a light blue holographic bar moving.

You guys don't understand!

Look at geruvah22's video part 2 making a ufo, the timer switch/logic component.

As far as I know, we have not seen the newest renders (atleast not in action) of the timer.....

It's really not fair.

How come everyone who gets to play the game early absolutely sucks at the game and has obviously never played LBP1?

Is it just me, or does this seem to be common in all of these "home made" videos.

Here's a half for the camera man: if you started, say, kickboxing, would you like that the pr0s would come and herd you off because you're not experienced in it?

He did do a rather good job at failing utterly in the level though.

I just thought of something. When LBP2 comes out, will everyone stop making their own characters and resort to just using sackbots? I kinda like seeing made-up characters still with the use of the corner editor tool.2010-08-31 16:18:00
