On the forum if I give away 1000xp does that get taken away from me in my rank/level. Like if I was a certain level and I gave away all my xp would I go back to the very first rank/level.

Simply, yes. You also choose which points you give away. (The points you earned from posts, ratings, etc.)

(The points you earned from posts, ratings, etc.) yes it true you select which category you want to give away exp or you can go in a combination, then wend you give it away your level will go down. I have to do this every 2 weeks because of my contest lol

So xp is a just a number that you give out and other people collect that has nothing to do with Rep or Rank, right?

yeah im pretty sure it only effects your level, well, just judging by what everyone else has said. its not like anyone cares about your level any way, you dont even see it
