Wow, that was great. The first bit with the floating Island seemed a little bit rough around the edges, but for me, that added to the appeal. But once you got to the airship it just got better and better!!! First of all, the airship was really well made, very detailed looking!! Id think about making it smaller so you can see more of the ship while you are on it and more of where you should be going. I just went up and left and it looks like I missed a lot of detail (from your pictures). The sleeping dragon was great by the way.

The indoor cave section was my favourite bit. It was surprisingly relaxing and the lighting effects were neat-o!! I liekd just floating down to the next level, and using my light to find the right direction and hidden score bubbles. The evening windmill area just after that was great too. The whole thing had so much detail, its really hard to find any things to fix!!

One thing, some of the stickers didnt look like they were getting full coverage on the objects they were on, some tress for example. And like i said before, Id like it if the airship was smaller, but thats not a big deal. I dont know if I like the glass panel at the start, but Im not a big fan of the glass material at all. just befoe you enter a cave, and there is a big stomper thing, you might want to add another checkpoint a bit closer, because the next previous is a bit of a trek, not too bad though. I'd get rid of the signs pointing to the airship and explaining how to use it. They look a bit low res and its pretty simple to work out yourself. Might need them for some massive dumbies though, i dont know ) Cool name for it by the way, "Sky Cog"! Like I said, the start bit looks a bit rough, and could be smoothed out with corner edits. But I think it actually suited the elvel pretty well and liked it better like that, but Im not sure what others would think.

Overall, great details, and I liked the music, made my feel happy! The level only get s better as you go too. Too bad there isnt a floating island background or something else that would suit the level. Great job!!!

Thank you much for the feedback!

The sticker coverages was actually intentional to try and give the trees and bushes a 2 tone pink and green effect,
as for the airship I wanted to make it smaller but its balanced on a single cog and making it smaller doesn't give it proper weight distribution. When you release the balloon if it were any smaller the back is too heavy.

My inspiration to make the level was the floating bushes. I wanted to give everything a cartoon-ish feel with very simple and bright colors. The roughness was also my attempt to add a "drawn" style to everything. I wish as well that they had some sort of air type background I could of used to add to it. Hopefully in LBP2 they will have something for it, at very least it will have more thermo room for me to be able to put more detail into creating my own.

I'm really glad you liked the dark area it was one of my favorite parts to create. <3

Hey!! i was play ur lvl and i lik so much the idea , the floating action it makes it interesting, i get pleased the decoration and there are some scenes that are very good, it seemed to me to be long especially in the dark part where it is necessary to take the ball all the time, i believe that this is the only complaint that i have LOL but in the rest it is a good level. I giv u 4 :star:?s

Fun level! Can't say it was anything ground breaking, but it was a fun level in the end.

Pros
1. Using the checkpoint as a light- never seen that done before- very original. I enjoyed it.
2. Interesting visual style. Unique.

Con's
1. Some generic gameplay elements. Try to spice it up a little.
2. Point bubbles. Dont group them up in such large groups, they should be rewarding and are meant to direct the player.

OK, here we go!

Visuals look nice. Nothing special, but some global lighting and spotlights can make a big difference as far as that goes. Everything does have a nice clean look.

Some fairly challenging platforming going on throughout, but it lacks a small bit of something. Could be more fun, but hard to place my finger on how...

Nice looking dragon!

I love the Sky Cog!

Little detail: The arrow made of points? How if you only get some of them jumping down the tunnel, the rest come out the bottom a little after you? I really liked that for some reason.

Emerging from the tunnel and sending the floaty little popcorn puffs all akimbo is also nice!

The sleeping dragon is awesome. I really like how you made him breathe!

The platforming does get better and better as the level progresses.

Very slick, making me take the checkpoint/light with me. Niiice!

Great finish! Love the giant skull!

All in all, I'd say this level starts out fairly strong, but a bit lacking, then sucks you in deeper and deeper as you go. Everything just improves and improves, from visuals to platforming, to the outstanding carrying of the light through the cave. I thought at the beginning that I was playing a fairly solid four star level, but right around the time I hopped the Sky Cog, I realized that I was standing in the midst of five star greatness. I don't know if I'd change the beginning or not, since there were nice surprises as the level got better and better as I went. A pretty unique experience in that.

I detached the sky cog early so I probably missed a cool section of the level but you had a route ready for the more clumsy players great planing there. The checkpoint was a cool idea i've never seen that before and it was a fun change of pace you could probably find a few more ways of using that maybe a sequel.2010-08-28 22:20:00

Very nice, you had some original parts like the darkness and the flying machine was cool.
pros:
+ fun segments
+ nice creatures
+ good platforming
cons:
- no story

overall its :star::star::star::star:

I played this earlier, and really liked it. The airship section is definitely the most enjoyable section, particularly when the vehicle handles quite well. Following the arrows was easy enough, due to the responsive handling. Very nice.
Wouldn't mind seeing your airship make a return for another level, perhaps one more based on the use of it, rather than a short 20-second or so flight.

The rest of the level was very nice, aswell. Although I liked your checkpoint + light puzzle section, there wasn't very much to it. I got it first try without ever finding a dead end. x3

This is a very good level!
Pros:
Good theme
Loved the floating plants
Dragons are always cool
Good vehicle
Good gameplay
Rope bridges that you don't fall through too easily (except the obvious one.)
One of the coolest scoreboards I have ever seen! Did you make it?

Cons:
No background - Maybe some clouds? Possibly in the background layers?
Some more obstacles in the dark cave section.

So I gave it 5 :star: & <3 because it deserves it.
Can you F4F my PttS entry?

OK, that was a fun little romp. Honestly my favorite part was your scoreboard. It was very nicely designed and original. Otherwise, though the level was fun, it seemed it could have done with a little more polish/time put into it. Nothing in particular seemed rushed, just overall felt a little bland...like some parts were simply wooden background/foors with nothing else. Still fun though with some cool ideas....4/52010-08-29 15:35:00

Nice level. I think adding a little bit of a story would of made the level better, but it was still a nice platformer. I liked the cave part, it looked nice, real simple too. Some areas had bad visuals, some had good. I think you should play with lighting a bit more. The dragons were awesome. I also liked the score board, looked really cool.

Overall I give this level 4 stars.

Can you leave feedback on Farewell Ruins of the Moon: Chapter Two (leave feedback on https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=32039-Farewell-Ruins-of-the-Moon-Chapter-Two)? Thanks.

I also recommend you play the first level in the series, because it is a heavy story level and takes place directly after chapter one.

I left LBP for a few months, but now after coming back, I can't believe what I missed. It seems like the infusion of ridiculous shark attack and bomb survival levels is over, finally, and now we're getting some real stuff. I can't access my PS3 now, but just from the screenshots, it looks pretty good.2010-08-29 18:12:00

Hey there! I just played your level and I've gotta say. It was very good and fun to play!

Pros
- Visuals were fantastic. That's the first time I saw pink floaty and didn't instantly think it looked out of place.
- Gameplay was great and creative. I especially liked the tunnel where you can choose which way to go. xD Very funny when you choose the wrong way. (Maybe making them all choices like the last one would make it more fun though. Telling the right direction kind of makes me sad. )
- Overall it left me satisfied and happy.

Cons
- The only issue I really have is with the zepplin. It's controls aren't that great. Try tweaking the power of the rockets until you find a good sense of control over it. Also, it would probably be a good idea to add a checkpoint to the zepplin.

:star::star::star::star::star:

Good job! (For F4F, I'd appreciate if you could play my Clock Town level in my signature. ^o^)

Good level, but needs more stickers and decorations. However it's your style so that's optional. The platforming gameplay works and the dragons of this level looked cool. I also liked the blimp ride which is well made and the dark maze is clever. It is well corner edited and I liked those floaty clouds too. Overall the visuals are okay but the gameplay is good. 4 stars.

F4F either The Hero Chronicles LV3, LV4, LV5, or LV6.

Pretty cool level.

I loved the colorful visuals and the dragons. The airship was good too, although I detached the balloon on my first time and ended up looking pretty silly. The next time around I avoided touching that lever lol.

The caverns part was also pretty interesting, and the scoreboard was awesome! The sky could use a bit more life though, since it felt a bit empty at certain parts. Some simple clouds or birds in the background would help.

I recorded a video of the level:

A fun level with a bit of emphasis on an often overlooked material type, the floaties. I like the style of the level - kind of storybookish. Dragons were pretty cool too. I may have separated the ship a bit too soon, but no problem. Pretty clever design for that too.

Nice job.
