Help! My Sig won't Upload Properly!

Archive: 7 posts

Okay, after a lot crazy editing with nothing but screen shots, iWork and iPhoto I managed to get a vaguely good picture for my sig. On the sig editing area of my Profile it says the max size for my sig must be 500x100 pixels, so I cropped it to that size, but when I uploaded it it was tiny, even though it looked the right size on my computer before.

I have tried re-uploading it again, and I think it might also be doing to same to my other pictures I tried with. Please help me!

Okay, two things.
1. This is the wrong place to post this. You should ask a mod to move it to the Help! section. You will probably get more help there anyway.
2. The sig size is limited by TWO conditions, pixel number and FILE SIZE, which is probably the one you are running up against here. I had the same problem too. How big of a file size does it let you have? Make sure it is not bigger than that. Otherwise it will make the size (pixel) smaller so that the proportions stay the same, while making the file size smaller.

Sorry man, that's pretty much completely wrong. :/ This shouldn't be in the help! section (Help! is for LBP related things), it shouldn't have been made - DizzyZebra should have PM'd a mod. Also, what you have to do is upload the image onto a photo sharing website like photobucket, then copy and past the image URL into tags in the big box at the top of the page. Ignore the signature picture bit underneath, it's pretty much useless.

Anyways, I can see you were trying to help and for that I commend you good sir.
