Requirements for Beta Consideration

| Hello! Just saw a post on Littlebigland.com  ''Before you get all excited, we don't have any beta codes. This is just a public service announcement. Right, now that we have that out of the way here is how you have to set up to get e-mails from Sony containing beta codes in the first place. Here is handy step-by-step guide: 1. Log into the PSN network. 2. Under "Playstation Network", click on "Account Management". 3. Click on "Account Information". 4. Scroll down and select "Notification Preferences". 5. On the following screen, make sure that you have both boxes ticked/checked. (This page also reminds you what email address is associated with your PSN.) 6. Click on "Confirm". 7. Update completed! So just click "Ok". Of course you need a working e-mail address as well and you may want to set your account information so that it says that you are at least 18. '' So yeah... imma do that NAO! PS. PS. Keep in mind that this is no guaranteed way to get a code, just higher percent of getting one  It doesn't raise your chances of getting one, it allows you to actually receive them at all! | Fooled, maybe. Mostly due to their own eagerness/ignorance to get into the LBP2 Beta. Nothing in the opening post is inherently wrong. Just applied wrongly. Considering the mystery surrounding the Beta, people will interpret the opening post to say "Do this, and you'll get into the LBP2 Beta!" (The title doesn't help, I'll admit that.) What it actually says is: Do this, so you can get into a Beta, should you be selected for one. But yeah, I checked. Well, even if you didn't get the email, it would still allow you on the beta forum. (Anyone remember my little mix up?) I finally checked those boxes and got my email a month or 2 late. I could see the beta forum, but I couldn't download the beta since my code expired. I don't think they've picked people for the LBP2 beta yet, so the new testers wouldn't know yet, but if you've MISSED a beta, you should be able to see a link to the beta forums on this (http://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/English-Forums/ct-p/55) page... And while helpful, it has nothing to do with a LBP2 Beta, but rather your notification settings on the PSN in general. You could easily put any other game title in place of the word "LBP2" and the same rules could apply. | I don't think there is such thing as a master account :S When you sign up for PSN, and your age is under 18, you have to make a sub-account. Which means that you need an 18 year old to make an account, and then you make an account that links to it. The master account can pick if sub accounts can chat, which games they can play, and how much they're allowed to spend on the PSN store per month.
