I've recently realized that even though there are DLC levels that use the patinator and water, there are no story levels that contain them and even more recent DLCs don't.

Well, may be because they don't NEED water or paint. And water and paint came out after story mode.

But you get PotC elvels with water and MGS with the paintinator. Aren't those stories?

I've recently realized that even though there are DLC levels that use the patinator and water, there are no story levels that contain them and even more recent DLCs don't. Because they later DLC "story levels" are not there to show the paintnator nor water, but their own materials. Its for saying "Look at what you can do with this pack and how you can make levels with it alone." Putting things outside its DLC real (Oter than non-DLC) would be like saying: "You need something else to make a good level with our product." In short: Why feature something old when there's so much new to show!
