(I'd expect AT LEAST a mod to use the search function... :/ ) Funny enough, look what I posted in that other threas... Oh the irony, the thread that was supposed to be seen exactly fot this sort of situation to be avoided (making threads asking/ explaining the same thing) was ignored to make this. I hato to say this m8, but if that happened to that one, it will most probabl happen to this one. People will notice it at first, thank, go "hey good idea dude," be on notice for like a week, then be burried and forogtten along with all other useful threads... That's what happens with most good useful threads at least. :/ Man, did I call that ot what? In short, this is like the 3rd thread for the same thing. AAAHEEEM looks like no one see the things that already exists. https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=30709-Tutorials-List We had already noticed it, and if you'd bothered to actually read the post before complaining, then you might've noticed we'd actually acknowledged that by putting your name in it. Making an already existing thread m8? (I'd expect AT LEAST a mod to use the search function... :/ ) The problem we had was that there were three different threads all trying to do the same thing... Helpful Threads and Links (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=17342-Helpful-Threads-and-Links) Tutorial Spotlight (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=26372-Tutorial-Spotlight) (which itself was an attempt to update the original official Tutorial Spotlight (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=7260-Tutorial-Spotlight) thread). Tutorials List (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=30709-Tutorials-List) ...and the idea was to amalgamate them all into a single thread which was both... Sorted by category and usefulness (rather than alphabetically). Actively maintained. ...which wasn't true of any of the existing threads. So schm0, and some of the other mods put in a lot of effort to try to make such a thread. We also thought it better in the long term that the thread 'belongs' to the site, rather than a specific user, because users tend to come and go, but there will always be at least one mod/admin who can keep the thread up-to-date. And mark my words, It shall not be the last, as this will be frgotten, even if made "sticky", and someone eilse will make it again, and again, and yet again. and so on... Quite possibly. At the end of the day, many of the "useful" threads end up being more ephemeral than we'd like, but that's the nature of the beast. Every new patch to LBP brings with it the possibility of making several threads obsolete, and no doubt the release of LBP2 will cause exactly the same problem. IM GONNA EXPLODE I don't mean to be rude, but bear in mind that it's probably more important to cater to our user's needs, rather than your ego. No-one is stopping you from making whatever threads you like (within reason), but when it comes to deciding which are good candidates for being stickied, that's our decision. If you disagree with that, that's fine, and you're welcome to suggest better alternatives, but we'd prefer if you could do so in a rational manner, rather than getting angry, and posting pictures of explosions. 2. Jump_Button uses lots of invisible materials which are very large. I only can do it, and they get small...would love ton know how to make them larger? This works for me. If you repeat the process over and over again, you can make invisible material of any size: Creating Editable Invisible Material In Seconds (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=312921#post312921) Not sure about the 1st one though, some others here might have more expertise on the subject.
