I don't know if anyone else has noticed this before, or if it has been confirmed. This thread will most likely get a lock though. Back to buisness. I noticed that the trailer says "Craftworld," not "LittleBIGPlanet." And I do believe that Craftworld was the prototype of LBP? What does this mean? Perhaps Yellowhead is somehow tied to the storyline?

I know but the usage of CW instead of LBP makes me wonder... Or maybe they say Craftworld because it's in development and they wanted to make a reference?

I think the name of the actual planet that the story is based on is called Cratworld/Craftearth. Craftworld is a 'littlebigplanet', if you get me. Then I guess there could be other planets that are littlebig.

So its basically the same thing m8, only "Craftearth/ Craftworld is the actual name the creator curators "live." (They don't call their world LittleBigPlanet, but rather "Craftworld.")

Isn't LBP2 in a parrallel dimension rather than just another world? Or something. Seems likely they would use the old dev name as a nod to the hardcore fans.

Craftworld is just the planet's name. I'm pretty shure Little Big Planet is just the game name.

Nah, they're just "recycling" what they had left over from the prototype. Like they put yellowhead in lbp and now craft world, which was the lbp prototype, in lbp2.

I think it is like Earth. Often called the Planet = Little Big Planet or the World = Craft world But now that I think about it, it probably is to do with yellowhead more.

No no, CraftWorld = LittleBigPlanet, just as Earth = Planet. Or maybe CraftWorld is just the scientific name for the planet and LBP is the common name.

WE have other planets in LBP2, right? we know that LBP1 world is full of crafty stuff and other planets not so much (Are you see anything crafty in trailers?). So i think Sackboy (LBP1) planet it's called CraftWorld Whatever it is this mystery will be solved after release

I think StealthyHawiian is right. Just like Disneyworld (A collection of things) Craftworld is a collection of LittleBigPlanets, one of those being Craftearth. OR Craftworld = Craftearth, and the location of a theme is displayed all over the planet, but it isn't actually the whole planet. But whatever Craftworld is, it's definitely NOT (the?) LittleBigPlanet from the first game. That wouldn't make any sense.

I'm fairly sure it's in either a parallel universe, or just another set of planets. "Craftworld" I believe is the universe/galaxy, but the "littlebigplanet" is just that - a planet

Well, since you are traveling through time, I would think 'LittleBigPlanet' is the modern day CraftWorld, so all of the "LittleBigPlanets" of different times are generally categorized as CraftWorld. (Since, supposing, the name changes through different eras of time). That's what I figured, anyway.
