The Pyramid Game
Archive: 1 post
hey guys, Long time no speaky Ive been away for a while, mainly due to revising and my A levels etc etc. But now Ive come back to the forums. And Ive come to tell you about A project Im currently executing. As the title suggests its called the pyramid game. And its quite hard to explain. I remember playing it before, it featured as a mini puzzle in games like "Mass Effect" & "Black & White 1". It entails 3 pods. and 4 blocks. Each block coloured differently, Red, Orange, Yellow & White. The user has two buttons and can only move the topmost block in the selected pod. This project was gonig to be a mini-puzzle, but its complexity soon exploded right into my face. And I realised that Id need an entire level to try and work out how I would make it work with only 2 buttons, and so it was emitted, and the user didnt have to use a crane or anything like that. So, I have finally put this level together and got it working. I just want you guys to give me any questions or if any of you actually know the name of this game, because I sure as hell don't. But yeah, the switches are pretty complex, and Im probably going to publish it in a couple of days. I'd like you guys to have a look at the switches and the actual mechanics too, because I am really really quite happy with how I've actually made it work. | 2010-08-24 22:43:00 Author: Xenon- Posts: 35 |
