I'm pretty sure, it makes it so that the checkpoint is activated on the end level pad once you've turned on the switch.

If you die you will appear there when it's activated, unless you trigger another checkpoint after you activate the scoreboard. Just a big checkpoint.

Try it again. Hook a switch to the scoreboard. Trigger it in play mode and then pop yourself before you encounter any other checkpoints. You'll spawn at the scoreboard and end the level.

In the last Marvel level, MM have hooked up a sensor switch to the checkpoint. I assume this works in the same way.

Oh ok. When you worded it like that, I thought you meant when you activate the switch, you automatically spawn at the end level pad.

Oh. In lbp2, there'll be an option to instantly end the level (apparently without having to die), but there's not one yet.
